What is roleplaying?: When someone pretends to be part of a role in a game.

What is metagaming?: Someone who uses info from outside the game (like in real life) to get an advantage in the game, which is unfair.

What is powergaming?: Someone who is very good at one thing in a game, but not so good in other things.

Character’s name: Althalos

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Althalos is a tactful, stubborn and self-reliant Highlander. This isn't surprising considering for someone with his gruesome past. He was born and grew up in a successful family in a poor port in Athera. He lived without worry until he was about 7, but at that point, things took a turn for the worst. He lost his parents when they left after a brutal war and was shunned. Alone, with no one to look after him, he had to survive in an unkind world, but with his vigour and capability, he managed to keep ahead of the curve and conquer all fears and doubts. This has made him into the man he is today.

 

With the lessons of the past, he is now a rogue man, who lives on his own in the depths of The Forests of Adrallan, dependant on no one, looking after himself. By doing so, he hopes to find inner peace and finally find peace of mind he has never had. His only wish in life is to die a good, honourable death in Athera, where he grew up, and would give his life to protect his Realm.

 

He realises that death is inevitable. Each day he wakes up alive, he doesn't stop death, but merely postpones it to a later date. He therefore, does not fear death, but has made death itself his sworn enemy. A much stronger opponent, whom Althalos knows he cannot combat, and avoids any confrontation with. 

Personality Traits: Vast vocabulary of old English, and socially active.

Ambitions: To bring the living of all races together to live in peace and harmony for ever.

Strengths/Talents: He is an omnipotent swordsman and learnt to fight on his own. H is quick to act, strongly built, and had the senses of immortal man. He does not rush into a battle he knows he might lose, and carefully lays out the possibilities of the fight, and the possible outcomes of each scenario, giving him a psychological edge over his opponents. He is a strategist, and is known to outplay his enemies physically and mentally.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Love. His only weakness in life is and always has been a broken heart.

I've put your application on pending due to the fact that it is a good attempt, but there are a few flaws that you need to fix or correct for it to be acceptable:

 

- Your powergaming definition is incorrect, I would advise looking up the definition of it in roleplay, but be careful to re-word it and not to plagiarise.

 

- You've made a start on including lore in your biography, but you need to add more before you can be accepted. My suggestions would be people, places, events or battles to flesh it out. 

 

- Having a broken heart is not really a weakness per se, and will make your character rather overpowered. Add another weakness to make your character more well-rounded in general.
