Sitting in his office, Elvrohir hand writes pamphlet after identical pamphlet, announcing the first ever Laurehlin Games. As he finishes a stack of papers, an Avern takes them and rushes out of the barracks to begin posting them all over town.

THE LAUREH'LIN GAMES

The Hunt is upon us!

Will you be a hunter, who reads the forests to find the trail of your prey?

Or will you be the hunted, the odds pitted against you, living to outwit your pursuers?

Who will gain Cernunnos's favor?

The games of course, are non-lethal, with blunted weapons and wax arrowheads.

THE RULES-

The Hunters- The hunters are equipped with iron swords and non-enchanted bows. They may bring their animals to assist them in the hunt, such as horses and wolves.

Hunters will give the Hunted a ((5 minute)) head-start, and then, the hunt is on! ((Once you find a Hunted, it is on-sight PvP default, revive immediately, and then continue until all the Hunted have been found))

Hunters have until Sunrise of the next day to find all the Hunted, as soon as the first beams on the new day are visible, you are to return to the starting area.

The Hunted- The hunted are not permitted to have any equipment, except for food, when they begin the games. You will, however find, chests with stone weapons, scattered around the forest.

You will have to be clever to defeat your pursuers when using inferior weapons.

You will be given a ((5 minute)) head-start, your only goal, to avoid capture until morning. How you do this, is up to you, flee, hide, or fight. If you have evaded capture by the next morning, you are a winner!

((NO CROUCHING, if you decide to just find yourself a corner and hide, you may not be in stealth mode, if you are caught, it is an immediate disqualification and a ban from all future Hunts.))

((Neither Hunters, nor the Hunted are allowed to break any blocks. All fights are on-sight PvP, revive immediately.))

((The games will be held Tuesday, the 28th, at 2 PM PST, at the Sirame Outpost and the surrounding forests, coord X; 2460 Z; -1128))
