What’s the rule you agree with the most?: In order to engage in PvP you must have sufficient roleplay to do so, even if a player is running from ‘Halt!’ you may not PvP them. If the roleplay beforehand is major (e.g. a conflict) and they run from roleplay you may drop them but you must revive them.  I like this because in other servers there is no way to hurt other characters without them saying they want to fight so when they steal something and run you can't even grab them.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? A group of friends said they were going to it so I decided to come along with them

What is roleplaying?: Playing as the character you make and assuming his/her role.  It is also a way to go into another world to escape your own and be able to do what you couldn't in the realy world.

What is metagaming?: Using out of character information in character.

What is powergaming?: Either forcing players to do something or making your character powerful and being able to do things that they didn't work for. (I.e) A new player comes onto the server and says he is a master wizard or the greatest swordsman in the land and roleplays like they are.

 

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name:  Thu'lans Els'Thaan

Character’s gender: Male

Character’s race:  Wood Elf

Character’s age: 31

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):  The Els'Thaans were a middle class modest.  It was a family of 7. Two parents and 5 children Thu'lans being the Second Youngest.  The family lived in the safe cities of Salvus.  There were no clear skills that any of the children had but an ambition.  They all had the ambition to leave their modest home and become something more.  Thu'lans had initiated his ambition when he had gone through the markets looking for an apprenticeship as he saw a man speaking with the guards and was obviously a man breaking the law but persuaded the guards to look away with something simple. Words.  Thu'lans had then wanted to gain his apprenticeship at the town hall to learn the ways of persuasion but was shut down by his parents.  They sent him off to an orchard to learn agriculture.  He never dismissed his dream of being able to change the thoughts of people by just saying a few words to them and then have all the power in the world.  Thu'lans later learned that all of the siblings had something similar happen to them and they all had enough of their parents denial.

 

The oldest of the siblings Elvedui waited for the last of the siblings to be denied their freedom and gathered them together.  They had decided that they would leave the safety of the mixed cities of Salvus to make their own in the world.  They were all unanimous in their decision to thrust themselves out into the world and entrusting their fate into the Daemon that must watch over them all.  Thu'lans and his siblings left the safety of the cities and separated, beginning their  journey into the strange new world, Thu'lans searching to become a politician.

Personality Traits:

Ambitions: To advance the Els'Thaan family from the middle class they were to nobles.

Strengths/Talents: Charismatic situations IE Politics and Barter

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Though he is good at speaking he is not a fighter and is easily persuaded by gold.
