What’s the rule you agree with the most?: That would have to be the rule against RPing in a way that only benefits you and ruins the experience for everyone else, on purpose.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): The war rules seem a little complicated, but I will be sure to constantly check up on them if I ever join in on a war event.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: In all honesty, it started from posts in the forums for Rise of Kings, another roleplay server I was in beforehand, that mocked LOTC. A few people called it a bad server, etc. SO I decided to just stick with Rise of Kings. However, after a while I grew bored and left. I decided to check out this server and it seems very intricate and fun. A lot more complex than RoK, and overall interesting. So I decided to apply.

What is roleplaying?: The act of taking on a persona and interacting with others who have done the same. This is often done as a form of entertainment between the participants, and a way to enhance creative writing and acting skills.

What is metagaming?: The act of using information from an outside source in a roleplaying experience. Such as gaining information from friends in TeamSpeak, or Skype, so as to have an edge in an RP event.

What is powergaming?: The act of creating an RP persona that is extraordinarily overpowered in a normal sense. Such as giving them the powers of a god, making them invinceable, making them the ultimate dodger, etc.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

Being only two years young at the time of the migration to Vailor, Maeston has no memories of the land of Athera. Due to the rather gruesome topic regarding the reason for this migration, Maeston's parents chose not to inform him about this previous land. However, during his childhood years, Maeston had eventually found out the details from other adults and the relatively older children. Upon the migration to Vailor, Maeston had come to grow up in the squallors of the capital, Felsen. His family wasn't that financially stable, so there was no real choice. Maeston came to develope an appreciation towards climbing and running, being the agile boy that he was. This had led to a few negative encounters between his parents and the local guardsmen when Maeston seemed to have a habit of constantly and "accidentally" finding himself in private places. He simply had a knack for sneaking, he even found himself surprised by the fact that he was so capable of it. Due to this natural gift, and his misinterpretation of his skills, Maeston grew up believing the people around him were slightly deaf.

As one would expect, he would eventually get in even more negative encounters when he would simply say rather rude things about people. Quite loudly, as well. This had gotten him in very deep trouble on a few occasions when he had said the wrong things about the guardsmen when they were near, believing that it would be impossible for their deaf ears to hear it. This had also lead to the death of his parents at the young age of nine. He had found out rather harshly that his parents' support of the rebels in the Duke's War was not appreciated by the local guardsmen. He learned quite a lesson about conversation topics as he watched his parents hang limply from two identical nooses tied to their small hovel's rafters. He found out later, as he was juggled between various orphanages, that the guards came in earlier that day and hung his parents for treason.

Even with the dark events of his childhood, Maeston kept up his cheerful, energetic image. Although many of his friends and caretakers believed it was simply an act to cope with the loss of his parents. It could even be possible that it was, given his dark thoughts towards their murder that would emerge every now and then.. The rest of his years went by one after the other. He learned to put up the act of a patriotic member of the New  Holy Oren Empire. He learned to cope with the hardships of orphan life. He even grew to cope with the loss of his parents. To everyone else, he appears to be an idealistic, joyful youth. However, every now and then, Maeston's heart receives a great pang of anguish at the memory of his parents, and his feelings of his betrayal towards them. Maybe he'll forever be haunted by his past, emptying out into a smiling husk of a young man. Only the future can tell.
