Fishing Issue

Hello. I appear to be having an issue with fishing. No matter how long i wait, i can't seem to catch any fish. I'm not sure what the cause of this is since it happened out of the blue. It appears to only happen to me, nobody else. I hope that this bug can be fixed. Thank you.

All the auto-fishers already caught all the fish, sorry.

Please excuse my typical first questions

Have you restarted the computer?

Have you restarted the client?

Do you know how to fish in Minecraft?

Are all of the particles turned on in your video settings to see the particles in the water for the fish?

Have you tried fishing in other spots or ensured that you aren't landing your bobber on dirt?

Have you attempted using a vanilla client if not already doing so?

 

Sorry for the typical kind of IT inane troubleshooting questions.  Feel free to entirely disregard this as I expect you are well aware of all these things and hopefully can debug your issue to this level on your own before deciding its a server issue.

Well. It appears to be a mistake on my end. I turned off my particles to stop lag and forgot to turn them back on. Thank you, Amethain for giving me the idea to check. The problem has been fixed.
