Character’s name: Gaylai Dryell

Character’s sex: female

Character’s race: Mixed Elf

Character’s age: 18

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Gaylai was the progeny of a dark elf smith and a high elf alchemist's forbidden love. She was born in Halunth'or among the company of several influential high elves. As soon as she was birthed, many were shocked, as she had the beautiful and desirable amethyst eyes of high elf, and the dark charcoal skin of a dark elf. Many shunned her mother, as they all knew she had an affair with the "lesser" dark elves. Days after being born, her mother moved her to a small dark elf village on the outskirts of Vivec. As soon as she arrived, seeking Gaylai's father, many knew what happened, and refused her service. Word spread like wildfire throughout the village of this scandal, and a witch hunt began for Gaylai's father. In the middle of the night, Gaylai's parents reunited in an old quarry, and decided to retreat to Laureh'lin to seek assistance from the not so discriminant wood elves. 

       For the first sixteen years of her life, Gaylai lived in a treehouse with her parents, learning the arts of the forge and cauldron and studying passive politics with the Wood Elves. She learned how to harvest edible roots and berries, and learned how to play the pipes. However, it was not meant to be. One night, a conglomerate of angry dark elves, furious with the impure couple, decided to firebomb their treehouse. Gaylai could only watch as fire consumed her house and family. Distraught, she fled Laureh'lin for The Cloud Temple, where monks decided to take her in. At the age of 18, she refused to join the monks, and so she was escorted from the temple. Now, with a sack full of berries, an old hunting knife, and a sharp wit, she sets out in to the world, seeking to bring peace among nations.

Personality Traits: Ambitious and level-headed, however somewhat disloyal

Ambitions: Bringing about an end to war among elves and restoring peace to the whole world, by whatever means necessary...

Strengths/Talents: Nimble, with strong lower body strength. Good with nature and survival.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Weak upper body strength. Unable to understand sarcasm.
