A Strategy Concealed

A letter would appear on the Emperor's desk, sealed with a symbol he wouldn't recognize: Two stags on a crest seemingly brawling. Inside the letter would say this,:

Dear Your Imperial Majesty, John I Frederick of the House of Horen, blessed be his name.

I come to offer something that has seemed to be rather ignored by our powerful fighting men about the war with the heathens of Urguan. I must say, with the casualties we suffered at Kal'Valen, what are we to do if Urguan wins the next battle? I am in no way suggesting the wenches will win, but if they do WE MUST prepare! I suggest garrisoning small forces in the castles we've recently conquered, to assure the bastards shall not advance. I say this as a man who personally planted the banner of Oren on the tower of Kal'Valen, I say this as a fellow reformist and patriot.

-The Signature of a known soldier and loyalist to the empire, Michal Sobieski, would lie at the bottom of the parchment.

((**** posting will be reported, no dwarven espionage **** either please, and remember, only the emperor got this letter, so only he may properly RPly respond))

Bertrand contemplates writing an improper letter and sending it to the Emperor. Realizing that he is but a simple farmer, however, he decides not to.
