A Temporary Leave and new appointees

A public decree is made known throughout the realm of Khalestine:

From Snow’s Maiden of 1550 to 1551, the Sultan and Sultana of The Sultanate of Khalestine will be taking a temporary leave of absence. In their stead, appointed Sultan Fakhri Kharadeen along with the former Caliphess Arabella Kharadeen, will take up the leadership positions and responsibilities that come with leading a vassal nation.

In Regards to The Supreme Council of Khalestine

All council members should continue with their duties and preparation for our Festival of Mustaqbal Jayid. They are also to meet with the newly appointed Sultan and Malika and assist in advising them during the absence of Arlen and Irsia Kharadeen.

In regards to The Righteous Faith

Along with this, let it be known that the former Caliph, Faiz Kharadeen, has returned from his banishment and is once again appointed as the Grand Imam, a servant who will guide - all those who are willing to accept - to Allah as it is our God who has brought us to these times of prosperity. Under Faiz Kharadeen, Faiz Ibn Qhuhafah has been appointed as Imam due to his zealotry and devotion to the Creator.

In regards to the Holy Order of The Alwahdat Alwaqi and Order of The Mubarizun

Amir Amethu Denaseth will be taking his own temporary leave of absense and in his stead, rises Ashruf Kaneen to assume the position of Amir. Amir Ashruf Kaneen may appoint his own Alkabirs (commanders) and hold all the same responsibilities of an Amir of Khalestine.

Signed,

Sultan Arlen Khara

((OOC))

Going out of town for the week so I'm appointing some people to run things while I'm out.

In his room in the palace in Khalestine, the young son of Arlen Kharadeen stands looking out the window at his city. Though it would only be for a year, this was what he had to look forward to as he grew older and when his father would eventually pass the title of Sultan to him permanently. This would be his first taste of leadership. He had no doubt his grandmother and the council would advise him well, and it was nice to know he'd be overseeing things jointly with her. Still, fear lingered in his heart. What if he couldn't do it?

Fakhri Kharadeen shook these thoughts from his mind before turning away from the window, leaving his room, and going downstairs to consult with his grandmother.
