Lotharingian Proclamation of 1564

 

“To all souls of our beloved empire,

 

The young Archduke Lothaire d’Amaury has returned from his tutelage in the Kaedreni Mountains, coming to the age of majority. Educated in hunting and literature throughout his youth by his mother Milena and various court officials, he returns to his seat in Summerhall to end the fifteen year regency of Lorraine. Riding and returning with him are his father’s fearsome honorguard, eager to dismiss and destroy the pretenders and bolster the Empire against all wayward threats. The Archduke urges all men of Lorraine to rise up once more to restore the declining province back to prosperity.
