Perhaps give him a fear, a lust, ect. Your characters strength is not very much of a "Strenght" while he may be good with a sword, is he good at anything else? Cooking, Farming, Blacksmithing, ect. Add more to his personality; keep in mind it is a person, once more perhaps give him fears, lusts, ideas. Why would he want to be a night? your characters ambition does not line up with the biography, perhaps give him a reason as to WHY he wants to become one.
