Character’s sex: Male

Character’s race: Human

Character’s age: 19

Biography:

In a foreign landscape layered with unforgiving deserts, littered with sharp rocks and ravenous creatures Baby Chariot was born as the Son of the Sandragger trade prince. One of 5 ruling trade empires that orchestrated the flow of coin and goods between cities over the vast golden sands, fortunate to be born into such a family but ultimately doomed that it should be the Sandraggers. Chariots father was notorious for using his own children as baitrunners, a miserable struggle that claimed the lives of his brother and sister before him, but they were not blessed with Chariot's gifts. He was named so that he would be fast, and that is exactly what Chariot became, kept in cramped quarters Chariot was trained for his suicidal fate from the moment he could walk. He knew no different and when his 10th birthday came he was driven into the desert for the first time to accompany his father's caravans. Chariot was part of a team of 12 unfortunates, leaden with bells and whistles strapped to their legs and arms encircling the caravans at a distance, pushing his burning feet through the shifting surface and alone under the scorching sun his fate emerged beneath him. That was the first day Chariot had his arm twisted in the jaws of a Husksnatcher as it thrashed around and it wasn't that last, but he made sure that they had to catch him first.

Any description of monster could burst forth from the dunes and swallow a baitrunner if they weren't fast enough, but that was always preferable to the cargo being swallowed. Chariot had no choice but to learn quickly, there was no time for anything else but running, so that's what he did. Outrunning any friends he made among the desperate such as himself to avoid the Sun wasps, Husksnatchers, Longfangs, Corpsehides, Dust Dragons, Desert leapers that would frequently snap at his heels with whirling teeth. No matter how many gnashing jaws Chariot would outrun a successful baitrunner is a dead, being made to run more caravans more frequently. Unrelenting and without option he continued to charge into the sands hoping that one day he could outrun the worst beast of all, his father.

His chance came when his Uncle sabotaged the caravan, sleds sinking into the dunes behind him Chariot continued to run and run, grinning as for once as his father became food for the desert. Chariot, finally freed from his fate as a runner, was given a chance to start over when his Uncle through him onto a boat and told him to never look back.

Personality Traits: Likes spicy food and is fascinated by flora and fauna that isn't trying to kill him.

Ambitions: Aspires to one day return to his homeland, alive and healthy with the power and knowledge to take the princedom of the Sandraggers back. Wants to learn how to quilt

Strengths/Talents: Running.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: I don't think he can read or write. Pretty poor social skills.

Appearance Lean, with dark hair and old twisted scars.

Denied

Sadly your application has been denied for the following reason(s) below, yet do not fret applicant as this does not keep you from joining forever. You may reapply in 24 hours,

  • Your character may not be born into royalty, as this makes no sense from a standpoint in game. Please change this to a more lore fitting role.
  • 'Sun wasps, Husksnatchers, Longfangs, Corpsehides, Dust Dragons,' are not beings within LoTC, please do not include creatures that do not exist via lore.
  • Your definitions are vague, please build on these as they are a core part in roleplay! if you do not know what they are please refer to the links at the bottom of this page;

To clarify your question, the monks are what brings your character back to life after death if you do not want to permakill that character (PK). If your character acknowledges or states 'Kill me, The monks will just bring you back' Results in a 'forced' permakill basked on the staff.

You may reapply in 24 hours, any sooner and you will be denied once again.

If you have any questions and or concerns please do not hesitate to send me a PM via going to my profile, and using the message button!
