definition:

roleplaying: when you become some one your are not in a different reality from your own, looking through the characters eyes instead of your own, like the characters behavior and thoughts, how they act and how they feel about something or some one. its like acting somewhere else

metagaming: using information outside the your characters life, a good example is when a character that is first introduced into the story and some says their name even though no one even knows them

powergaming: an action that forces the other player to do the action you want to happen to the point you don't want to win, making the fight unfair for the other player, like dodging all attacks and never getting hurt

Bio: Cyntaria was born in Haelun'or, the capital, in 1571. As a child, she was very shy and quiet towards other people that are her age. Her mother was Maehr'ae and her father was Hiylun. Following in her mother's footsteps, she wanted to become an artist, taking lessons from her mother when she was 6. Some times, her mother and father would bring her to a place away from the city and personally train her to fight, which she isn't fond of. But in her spare time, she reads books and boost her knowledge about the art culture. She would some time sing to herself when she is painting and or walking with her parents, which they enjoy listening to. One time in "training" she tried to use her wooden sword and accidentally hit her father on the arm, grazing it a little.  Getting scared, she ran back to the capital and to her home, shaking and sobbing from hurting her father. When they found her in her room, they weren't angry but they were sympathetic since she was still young. She told her parents she vowed not to fight ever again. She didn't want to hurt anyone, causing her fear of fight.

 

Sometimes she has a feeling for adventure but something keeps stopping her. She wanted know what the outside world was like but she was too scared to find out on her own. So, her parents decided to go to Linandaria, the great forest, to meet some wood elves to talk about business when she was 16. As they arrive, her sense of adventure increased. She meets another elf  her age named Mel and it was difficult for her to become friends with him at first,  but they talked and talked, told each others their stories so far, and what their city and forest lives and they became really good friends. On Cyntaria's final day there, Mel gave her a small wooden stick with both their names engraved on the side. But she needed to hide it before they take it away  from her, so she hid it away in her pouch, since it was small enough to fit. Every time her parents when to Linandaria, she would always wanted to go. But soon, she was forced to stay home after finding out that she had snucked something from another area without their notice. When her parents came home one night, she asked how her friend was and they sadly shook their heads. She found out that he had stolen some things from Johannesburg, the capital of the Holy Orenian Empire. It hurt her to think that her friend had changed and her emotions took over her and she ran to her room, not coming out until night fall. Her trusting in people from outside of Haelun'or became judgmental. Now that she is older, she has some wisdom to give to people in Haelun'or and her journey continues from there.

personality: Gentle and quiet elf with a and of an artist, but she can tend to be a little judgmental but she tries to keep it to herself. she can tend to be very emotional when it comes to fights and usually over reacts

Strengths/Talents: A very good artist with an intelligent and wise mind. She love to singing, paint and read, usually alone

Weakness/Disabilities: she can get very emotional in certain situations. A little judgmental and shy at times, making it hard for her to make friends. Usually gets scared when fights occur

Appearance: 5 feet 8 inches tall with pale fair skin and white long hair, crystal emerald eyes and a soft, gentle voice when speaking. Also wears a lapis blue crop dress and very pointed ears

  Lin'sulan is no longer the inhabited city. Haelun'or's current city is simply referred to as Haelun'or.
   
  Fortunately, expanding lore can be as simple as mentioning the names of towns or referring to major historical events. The wiki and New Player Guide can provide lots of general information that can help you out with this and to fix some of the questionable details. For High Elves, we also have plenty of guides and pages that are very interesting to read and can help you out when expanding your lore - everything you might need to know is kept on the [OOC] High Elven Player's Guide linked below:
   
• Try not to include details concerning magic or the attempt to learn it/using it. Due to the nature of the learning process, your persona shouldn't really have had any experience with the abilities - especially at such a young age. For now, it is best you remove the details, implying your persona has explored this faculty, and wait until you are in-game to learn more about it (which you will, since High Elves love their magic)! Some of the details I am concerned about include:

• You need to provide a few more details in your likes/dislikes/ambitions/etcetera sections. I recommend one to two sentences (rather than lists) for each since we really want to see the initial development for your persona as a character.
