What is roleplaying?: It is when you act out a character that is different from you.

What is Metagaming?: It is the act of communicating outside of your characters life, often on a different platform or "Hidden chatt".

What is Power-Emoting?: It is when you do something your character is not able to do, it often overpowers the other players leaving them overlooked and helpless.

 

In-character information:

5.       The death of Olaf’s father took a serious toll on him. With his father now gone, he felt lonely and abandoned. The role model, he who had helped forge him into the man he was today, was dead. The only thing he had left of him was his passion for blacksmithing. His father had thought him the way of fire and metal as Olaf had but a few strands of hair on his chin. Olaf’s knowledge grew and so did his beard, soon he was both a fully-fledged blacksmith and a man. All thanks to his father.

 

After the many years of pain that followed his father’s death, Olaf had gotten enough of his small village. He wanted to venture far from the burden of his memories, far from what he had always known. He simply wanted a fresh start.

 

As news of the battle of Kal'Omith, and the dwarves who had successfully defended it against the Empire, reached his ear he knew that was where he wanted to go. The thought of this promised city made him take the last step towards independency. He packed his bags full of tools, bid farewell to his mother and two sisters, and began his journey towards Kal'Omith. There his dream was to start up a small business, where he would forge and repair metal goods.

 

It is not clear if his dream will become reality, he might just end up working in a mine. But one thing is for sure. He is no longer haunted by shadows of the past, and as long as he lives he will do anything to continue the legacy of Ulf Ironjaw, his father.

 

6.       Olaf is a simple man, he likes to work with his hands and create something. He likes to experiment and research different techniques and materials. He`s also heavily into mead and food, like most dwarves.

7.       A Kings personal blacksmith.

8.       Blacksmithing, it`s the only thing he knows.

9.       When owning a blacksmithing workshop, the blacksmithing is half the work. The other half, involving selling, buying, paying taxes and such he has remained completely unexposed to. This is something he will have to learn.

10.   Olaf is of medium Height when it comes to mountain dwarves. His hair is cut fairly short, but his beard is long and full, he often platts it so that it doesn't get in his way while working. His hands are the hand of a working man, they're scared and blistered and often filthy.
