The corpse suddenly gasped back to life coughing violently before rolling off the table and onto the cold floor with a thud. ‘Everything was cold,’ the man thought to himself as he slowly crawled then stumbled onto his feet. The creature glanced at his hands and was left in shock as his body seemingly stayed in a state of decay. Whipping his head around wildly he’d notice the robes figures surrounding him in the dim lit room. The corpse reached to his side grasping at air before looking down, his mangled-face expressing shock.

 

“Where is my blade!?. . . Where am I?!. . .”

 

The ghoul croaked out in anger before suddenly calming.

 

“Who. . . Who, am-- I?. . .”

 

One of the robed figures would stride forth, a smile twisting across his lips.

 

“You’ve some work to do, Jacque of Felsen.”
