Evangelli 83 Share Posted October 9, 2017 Gussie made her made way through Tahn's Dock, making her way to boat headed towards The Wood Elven Lands. The day previous, she had gotten settled. Now she wished to go out and see the Isle for herself. She wanted to see the greenery of this place and was fueled by the wondrous things she had heard about the place before. As she stepped unto the boat excitement filled her stomach and she was set off unto the rocky boat, scaling up the coast until they reached the sunny port on the downward slope towards the raised forest. With her sea legs, she made her way up the hill and into the forest's mouth. The sound's of nature calling, birds chirping and flowers all around. She walked down the path past streams and trees, stopping on occasion to take it all in. When finally she reached the main city, Linandria, surrounded by water and guarded by two large statues. The human girl stared up at the walls and at the constructions that were erected to either side of the bridge. Her moments spent dazzling over just the wall were numerous, and she made her way to the gate, being let into the city after a short wait. Upon entering the city she made her way up and around, staring at all the sights to be seen. The first thing that struck her was the twisting tree jutting right before the entrance, and the smell of nature all around her. It was not a crude smell, but a sweet upon and nice upon her soul. Skipping down the way, she made her way up to a pink tree. A strange sight to the country girl, the light astonished her at first. Gussie made her way up to the tree and sat under it. As she sat she was lost in her thoughts and the sounds of the world about her. She reached into her bag and began to twist and bend some straw idly. Her fingers flexing and moving with grace as she tied grain together with reed and flowers. The sun was setting before she finished her work, a small straw basket, she placed it before the pink tree and put some flowers into it. She saw this as a tribute, almost, a product of her thoughts and emotion. Content, she got up and moved away from the flower-filled basket below the tree, going to find a nice corner to lie down in, her summer farming gown being quite resistant to the prickling grass beneath. She drifted quietly off to sleep in the sun, happy with the world.
