The King’s Personal Guard

Every ruler must surround himself with those he trusts unconditionally, dwedmar to whom loyalty and valor always remain a defining characteristic. The Grand King’s cohort; the regal guard - are hand-picked by His Majesty to serve and protect him throughout his reign.

Through many years The Kingsguard’s only task was to protect the king, but its power was expanded by command of Grand King Frerir Irongrinder. The tasks of members of the Kingsguard are wide-ranging and require skill of the highest level.

Duty

Protection  -  Ensuring the safety of the Grand King and other council members.

 

Investigation - Investigating matters happening in and outside of Urguan, but which impact the Grand Kingdom in some way, such as uncovering treason and conspiracy.

 

Intelligence - Acquiring military and political information through various means, such as spying and stealing.

 

Special Work - Doing the personal bidding of the King, which often amounts to the completion of exciting and challenging objectives that can range from interrogation to assassination.

Captain

The leader of the Kingsguard, his orders must be approved by the Grand King. He is known for his fighting skills but also his intelligence. He must always be at the side of the King.

The Kingsguards

Through their vows, these dwed are sworn by their honor to keep the Grand King from the face of harm and to ensure that his reign endures. Whilst it is a duty, it is also an honor to serve His Majesty as a personal guard.

The Inspector

The Inspector is tasked with investigating and uncovering the roots of any problem(s) happening in The Grand Kingdom of Urguan. He must stop any conspiracy against the King.

The Warden

Known for his special interrogation techniques, he always seems to get information from his captives.

The Spies

Tasked with providing the kingdom with intelligence about other states, their names are withheld to keep their identities private. As a result of their brutal training regime and heightened skills, they are capable of hearing and seeing anything that is happening outside of Urguan’s borders, should their Grand King command it.
