To the Nobility, Gentry, and Peasantry of the Independent Duchy of Briar, and the denizens of Atlas:

Let it henceforth be known that I, Theodore Edward of the House d’Orléans, Count of Orléanais, Baron of the Goldengrove, do hereby swear my undying loyalty and fealty to His Grace, the Duke of Briar, and the entirety of the Ducal Household. I do solemnly swear to uphold the laws and values set forth by His Grace, and vow to protect the ducal lands shoulder to shoulder with my brothers-in-arms.
