QUARUM DECLARATIONEM FIDEI

Clarification of Faith

5th of Sun’s Smile, 1691

His Holiness Siegmund, High Pontiff of the Church of the Canon, Metropolitan of Rhodesia, Successor of the High Priesthood of the Church, Supreme Pontiff of the Church of True Faith, Keeper of the Canon, Pilgrim to Aeldin, High Servant to the Exalted's Testaments, Humble Servant of the Faithful and Vicar of GOD doth decree…

To the Faithful men and women of the people of GOD, who hold dear and serve Him in life with purity, and conviction, I, High Pontiff Siegmund I, do extend out to you a branch of learning, and clarification of Faith.

At times, the Faithful of this world approach the Holy Mother Church seeking answers to their queries upon the Dogmatic principles, as well as those questions that arise from uncertainty within newly formed institutions or ways of life that find themselves amongst these pious people. Questions deriving from a lack of formal, and absolute answer.

It is with this, that I do open the College of Bishops to take any question, clarification, or reinterpretation requests from the general flock of GOD, so that they might be presented fully to a Council. With this, the process for these requests shall be as herein enclosed.

All requests to be submitted to the College of Bishops are hereby decreed to be referred to as Writ of Precept, their function to be as follows:

1. A Writ of Precept is to be a written document of the precept within the Faith concerning Dogma, Theology, or a requested change to either of these two.

2. A Write of Precept is to contain the precept in full, as well as any evidence, theological argument, or any supporting works to the request made of the College of Bishops, with the question stated clearly, or the requested change fully elaborated on

3. A Writ of Precept is to be sealed by a Bishop among the College of Bishops once he deems it acceptable, with only sealed Writs of Precept being deliberated upon by a Council

Once presented to a Council convened to discuss the matter, the Writs of Precept shall be cared for as follows:

1. All Councils shall deliberate for One Saints Week upon all Writs of Precept

2. Once a deliberation has ended, and the Council has cast vote upon the clarification or adoption of a Writ of Precept, the decision is absolute as with any decision of Council, and shall be published at the most convenient time

3. Once a Writ of Precept has been accepted to the Council, no alteration, amendment, or adjustment shall be accepted. A Writ of Precept may not be submitted after Council deliberation with the same meaning, purpose, or idea as any Writ of Precept already admitted to Council
