Brief

The Clan of Ruunkav is centered around the unknown and the darker aspects of life that are hidden away within the Mortal Realms. This hunger for knowledge on topics and information considered niche is what drives us. All must come to understand that not everything in this world is as what it appears to be at first glance. We seek out the truth to these matters.

 

Goals

The Clan of Ruunkav has very direct goals and strives to open the eyes of those who refuse or dispute certain types of knowledge. We encourage people to dig into the unknown and to try and tempt their curiosity, as knowledge and power shouldn't be kept hidden away, nor should it be hoarded by one person or group.

Ruunkav seeks out members who have potential and a similar interest for the occult, regardless of the subject it pertains to.

Along with the craving for knowledge and mastery, Ruunkav looks to help those who are in need, regardless of what they’re struggling with, and who or what they are.

 

Virtues

 

The Clan has a set of simple, and quite obvious, virtues the members within stand behind. The following are:

 

Character and Self-Control

The dark knowledge we seek may attract unsavory individuals who may use such intelligence as a means of seeking power or control over others. This is not the intention of our Clan. Everyone has their motivations, but while under our Clan, members will show self-control in their actions. Outsiders may judge us based solely on what we seek out: the forbidden truths they were told as children to fear. This may create a natural level of distrust towards us in some. Pay no heed to it. Show control in your actions, prove the outsiders wrong.

 

Honesty and Sincerity

Everyone wants the truth, but no one wants to be honest. The spreading of lies and hypocrisy is precisely the opposite of what our Clan strives to do. It is because of the liars and hypocrites in the world that knowledge must be dug for. It is because of them that secrets exist. Our Clan may not exist if it weren't for them, but that does not mean we won't strive to curve those who show dishonesty away from us. Be truthful and open to your fellow Clan members. If you have something to say, be sure to truly mean it.

 

Loyalty

Loyalty, perhaps above all else, is wildly important to the individuals who make up our Clan. When tampering with arcanum and dark knowledge, one needs to be able to have unwavering trust within their fellow Clan members. A stab in the back may hurt. Someone who betrays us will hurt even more.
