-How much time could you be on the server weekly?: A few hours…it depends on my workload

-How long have you played minecraft?: Since near the beginning of the beta.

-What do you know about roleplaying?: Make a character, stick to them. Like writing a story, but it’s only one piece of a much larger one. Obviously, you create a character and react to sitautions like that character would react. I've been roleplaying for a few years on several different sites, mostly text based stuff.

-What do you expect this server will be like?: Awesome. Going out, exploring, meeting new people and seeing amazing places.

-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I’m currently on another server (the Lovett one) but not that often. It’s not bad, but there’s no story to hold my interest.

-Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes.

-Name the 4 races on this server: Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs. Then there’s Ascendant and Undead but I guess they’re not really races…

In-Character:

-Character Name: Cale Ildurr

-What is your Race?: Human

-Biography: Cale was raised a street rat in the alleys of Oren, learning every nook and cranny of the city in which he lived. He made some good friends among the other local kids, but was never a legend, simply a piece in a much large puzzle. When he was 10 he found a storybook of legends and fairy tales - great heroes who killed the dragon and saved the girl and got the gold to boot. He was fascinated, and determined to become one of these people - after a lifetime of looking up to everyone else, he wanted to be at the top.

He dedicated himself to learning how to wield a sword and fight, and without much formal instruction created a unique style that makes up for lack of technical skill with inventiveness and athleticism. With his skills increasing, he gained more and more recognition among the other orphan kids around Orren, enough that eventually another kid came to him and challenged him. Cale fought with all his strength but still lost due to the other boy's creativity and willingness to bend the rules. As Cale lay on the street, he realized that while he didn't have the skill to be the traditional hero, he could still make a name for himself. He sought out the boy who defeated him and demanded training - impressed by his determination, the boy gave it to him, and slowly Cale grew as both a warrior and a man. When he was old enough he joined the army, but immediately after leaving the city walls he fled into the wilderness. He enjoyed a brief time as a hunter and highwayman, but a run-in with the wrong caravan left him beaten and bloody. With nothing but the clothes on his back, he crawled until he found the Cloud Temple of Aegis...the place where he was born.

-Character Age: 24

-Character Appearance: Cale's tall, with brown hair that's constantly hanging down in front of his eyes. (he keeps thinking about cutting it but he's too lazy) His eyes are a dull brown, and his nose is a little crooked from when he broke it in a fight. He's got a variety of scars, all with stories, (some of which are interesting, some just embarrassing) the most prominent of which is one across his left palm. He's not muscular but he is very wiry and quick.

-Character Personality: Cale is straightforward and honest, and believes everyone else should be - though he knows not everyone is. He tries to be friendly and open with people, giving them a chance no matter who they are, though he is unusually distrustful of elves. He loves fighting, and exploring, and joking around with friends.

-Your ambitions: To be a great warrior and an inspiration to people after him. Cale is determined not to fall to anyone now, and has vague plans to create a huge guild of mercenaries and highwaymen, powerful enough to win wars and topple nations, with himself at the head. But for now that is just a dream, and he first seeks to make connections with powerful men and women that might help him on his way to the top.

-Can your character read or write?: Yes, though his writing is low level

-Can your character mine?: Yes

-Are you a capable builder?: He’s a competent builder.

-Can you wield a sword?: This is one of the few things Cale does well. He’s always wanted to be a famous warrior and has sunk an ungodly amount of time into training with a blade.

-Enjoy Farming?: He knows how to do it, but he doesn’t enjoy it.

-Does your character have any special skills?: Other than being a good soldier and a hard worker, no.
