~A Tribute to Arcas~

  A piece of paper was found on the ground before you, curiosity of your well being overcomes your entire body as you pick it up and begun to read the paper. However it was not just a piece of plain old state of the art paper. No... It was a Tribute. you study long and hard at this Tribute realizing it wouldn't do any harm in reading it. However you notice that the Tribute was cold and ruff, being left out on the ground for what it felt like days, maybe weeks. Whoever wrote this so called Tribute might have wanted this to become forgotten or maybe it was yet another item, lost in the lands in Arcas. You stop pondering to yourself and decide to just read it already.

A Tribute to Arcas

 

   Arcas... My home... Which if you are reading this, probably your home as well. Ever since I was a boy, sitting on the rooftops in Ves while drinking alcohol, which Ves is now called by another name. I have always been so... Naive of what this world, more specifically Arcas has to offer. Now as an adult I like to think back on those times, those simple happy times that everything was so peaceful. Or I thought it was peaceful... Personally I had to get out of the places that sheltered descendants from the problems outside its barrier. I succeeded where I was introduced with the Void, The swamp, which is severely worse than what it was in the olden Ves.

 

   I was also introduced to magic, however this doesn't mean I know how to use it. However its always a wonder of mine of how descendants like myself know or where to start to learn Magic. Its something that goes over my head because now it wouldn't surprise me anymore. Nothing surprises me anymore... I have been through a lot from my childhood and I have experienced so much of the unknown that its taking a toll on my ambitions. Magic is well known as of now that almost everyone knows of it, but the other subjects like the void. All I know we are scraping the surface of it all maybe even dove in more deeper than we should have.

 

  I am a person who’s job it is to go further into the unknown. To find ways to protect the land we are in even further than what we know now. I have met many people who has the same job what I have now. But... Sometimes I wonder if it will all be worth it at the end. Sure I might have found ways to combat the void, or maybe not. Its my Theory that starts it all in the process of a loop that keeps going around and around and around. I used to be someone that was calm and collected, and now I have turned just a bit more crazy in personality to stop myself from completely going insane. But it takes an insane person to go into the unknown.

 

   What i’m saying is that Arcas needs more people who are willing to dive into the unknown. Find the secrets that will aid us in the future, for our children to grow up with this advantages. We are strong already, but I would have you know that the situation with “Mother”, It took most of everyone in Arcas to kill Two minor beings, an army of something, and “Mother”. Where so much people were hurt by the first two minors. People have died in that scenario. Lots of descendants in Arcas have blankets over their heads, hiding them from the truth and wars just enforce the blanket, making us forget about the bigger picture.

 

  I should have called this “A Plea to Arcas” but for this last paragraph, this will be my gratitude for my home that I live in. I truly love Arcas for so many reasons. There is forces of evil but with forces of light continuing to fight each other in a never ending war. The land is most certainly beautiful in a way. Where all of us thrive upon it. I thank anyone or anything that created this land. Even though it has many problems that we can deal with all together. Its inspiring how almost every nation worked together to take down “Mother” Despite its differences and hatred towards each other.

 

But... Will it be all worth it?
