I’m not fluent in English but I do have a pretty good grip of the language and grammar. I have been studying English from since I was 8 years old.

-Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

I’m a 16-year-old Finnish girl who loves gaming and roleplaying. I also like fantasy and scifi books.I go to an art oriented upper secondary school.

-How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

Depends, but probably like ten hours at least. That is, if my internet connection works properly (it does most of the time).

-How long have you played minecraft?:

I’ve just started playing it myself but I have been watching A LOT of Let’s Play -videos.

-What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?: I could probably say that I know pretty much about roleplaying. I have played RPG games like Adventure Quest for many years and also started forum roleplaying like four years ago. I’ve also participated in many small LARPs and one bigger LARP.

Basically, roleplaying is stepping into the shoes of another person and acting as they would. It’s a great way to escape the reality and express yourself.

-What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect the server to offer me a nice roleplaying experience. I believe it will have interesting quests and jobs and nice, friendly people to play with.

-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I’ve only played on one multiplayer server before. It was a PvP survival server with no whitelist and no real rules. It was fun trying to stay alive at first but then I got fed up just hiding alone or people constantly killing me.

-Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?:

I have read the rules a couple of times and I believe I understand them. They seem very fair to me. I have also read about the lore and the races.

Humans, orcs, elves and dwarves.

-How did you hear about us?:

I was looking for a nice server to join in the minecraft forums and found the post about LOTC.

-Biography:

Aviala’s mother was (and still is) a beautiful high elf with long, platinum hair and green eyes. She lived a peaceful life in a small elf village until she met him, the man who would later be Aviala’s father. He was a dark elf with obsidian-coloured skin and light blue hair. The young elf maiden instantly fell in love with him, but her parents did not approve the relationship; strange rumors were being told about the dark elves.

Aviala’s mother and father decided to move into the wilds where they build a hidden home on the branches of the protecting trees. Soon Aviala was born and the family lived a happy but secretive life in their secret little home. Aviala was kept away from the eyes of other elves for she had his father’s dark skin and her parents feared that she would be resented like her father had been.

So, Aviala grew up to be a beautiful elf maiden with a huge amount of respect for the forest that had always provided the family food and safety. Her mother had taught her to read and write and her father had taught her to build and use a bow. Aviala spent a lot of time reading the books that her mother had. She read stories about the elven capital Laurelin and started dreaming about travelling to the city to meet some other elves - after all, she had spent her whole childhood with her parents as the only company. Every day she longed for the beautiful streets and quiet libraries of Laurelin, until one day she said goodbye to her parents and set out to find the city she had read so much about.

-Character Age: 35 (still quite young for an elf)

-Character Appearance: Aviala has very light hair, so light that you could even call it white. Her skin is dark and her eyes green. She got her hair and eyes from her mother and her dark skin from her father. She likes to wear a blue hooded vest over a black corset-like top.

-Character Personality:

Aviala is a very curious elf. She wants to find out as much about the world as she can. That’s why she likes to read books. She is usually well-mannered but sometimes shows the wilder side that she inherited from her father. She’s kind and respects the nature a lot.

-Your ambitions: To settle in the city and study things about the world and maybe even go on an adventure at some point and travel around to learn more.

She’s also a bit interested in politics.

Yes, both.

Not really, she has only read about mining.

-Are you a capable builder?

Yes, her father taught her to build.

-Can you wield a sword?:

Aviala prefers a bow, but she knows a little about using a sword too.

She has never worked on a farm but she might try it some day.

Not really.

The skin is made by me from the start and it’s very different than the basic elf skins that I’ve seen but I hope it’s okay. If not, please tell me how I should change it and I will.

-Other Information:

-Even though Aviala has a dark skin, she isn't copletely a dark elf - she loves the sun like her mother did and feels that being a half high elf is an important part of her as well.
