Petyr 485 Share Posted September 27, 2011 *You see a large sheet of sheepskin posted on the local newsboard.* DunFest Coming soon: A one of a kind festival hosted by the halflings of Dunwood! There will be ale, food, stalls, entertainment, contests, games, and more! For the first time, Dunwood will openly reveal its location! All races are welcome. Ye will be charged for entry once a day (Price TBD), giving you access to all the festival has to offer. There are both free and charged activites inside. There will be unique things such as bards, comedians, fortune tellers, trinket sellers, and possible dancing animals! Of course, plenty of ale will be sold, as well. Bring your own cup and it's cheap! DunFest will last for about an Elven Week, givin' everyone a chance to visit. Any and all donations are accepted, and we have some surprises for the most generous. There will also be some new buildings in Dunwood opened and houses for sale (if we like ya!). The goal is to bring merriment, minas, and more life to Dunwood and the halfling community. Such a large festival will require many hands, and if ye be interested, respond below this piece o' parchment (halflings preferred) OOC: Please post any ideas, thoughts, or comments so that this can be the best possible event! Jobs Available: Main Brewer - Taken Assistant Brewer 1 + 2 Will be payed portion of ale profits. Yer allowed to get donations while performing, but we can't pay all. We will pay for some needed acts. RP Name: MC Name: Race: Qualifications: Other Info: Trinket Merchant (Redstone Gizmos, Quills, Levers, Buttons, anything creative!) Will keep portion of profits. RP Name: MC Name: Race: Qualifications: Can you supply yourself: Other info: Map Maker/Merchant Self explanatory. You make the maps, you keep almost all profits. He has toughness and fighting skill running through his veins. He is in training so this would be a nice opportunity, he can be trusted not to let any unauthorized people in, as well as make sure people behave. Gabriel is also kind hearted and well spirited so he won't be as much a party pooper as I made him sound like in those first few sentences. Other info: I can't wait! I'll consider opening a stall I'll need to check out what I 'ave before filling I'n the form. I will try and spread awareness for this event as it sounds pretty good. Indeed, the Map Maker would make, find, or buy maps, and then sell them at the festival. It's for profit and fun, not necessarily to give people directions.
