This gazette of Imperial knighthoods shall serve as a comprehensive list of all valid honors conferred upon exceptional persons. Any usage of knightly honors, including but not limited to the stylization of oneself as Sir or Dame and inclusion of the postnominals (e.g. KM, KCL, KHE), is strictly prohibited for persons not on this list. These prohibited uses are tantamount to fraud and will be prosecuted as crimes under the Oren Revised Code.

It is expected that holders of knightly honors whom are not currently listed will be able to verify their status with the Ministry of Civil Affairs. This verification will result in their inclusion on this roll. In the case where proof or evidence is unclear or insufficient, the Chancellor of the Archives may submit these documents to the Crown for verification. Fraudulent documents may incur serious charges, as submission of these documents will be wasting the time of the Crown.

In some cases, foreign orders may be partially recognized. Most notably, the Church of the Canon maintains the Order of the Black Sepulchre (KCS). These do not confer honors of knighthood and are always after local orders in the line of precedence.
