Invitations would be hand delivered across Providence, particularly to those partaking in the social season of 1817. On the invites would be a pamphlet detailing an event titled: The Cardinal and the Duchess...

 

STORIES OF A FOREIGN DUCHESS

 

  PELAGIUS CARDINALIS ALBAROSA & ANNATRINA, THE TITULAR DUCHESS OF SAVINIA

 

With an estate in the grand-city of Providence recently purchased in the name of the de Savin family, the Duchess of Savinia makes a visit from her own estates in Aeldin. With renovations occurring, at the behest of Lady Ofelia Maria de Savin, daughter of the Duchess, it appears only right that the House of de Savin opens its new residence’s doors for the conveniently timed Social Season of 1817.

 

The Duchess and her brother, the Prince-Archbishop of Albrosa, organise and welcome any citizen of Providence - but particularly partakers of the social season and especially Imperial Children - to join them in their home for a once in a lifetime opportunity to hear the Duchess’ most marvelous life stories from her, herself. 

 

TIMETABLE

 

WELCOME AT THE FOYER

 

The Duchess and the Cardinal themselves will welcome all the guests at the foyer of the House. Greeting them with Her Grace’s favourite cheeses and wines, sharing jokes and acquainting herself with their guests.

 

HER LIFE STORY

 

Once all the guests have arrived, the Duchess will invite all of the guests to the lounge, where she will take the central seat and those participants around her so that they may intently listen to all the wondrous events that have occurred throughout her life. (A little teaser: A grand coup, a foreign war and attempted poisonings!)

 

CHEESE TASTE TESTING

 

The Duchess goes nowhere without her cheeses. She will bring out an array of wondrous cheeses and wines so that all the guests may taste and go home with. 

 

FAREWELL

 

The Duchess will bid her brother and the guests a farewell. She will retire to her chamber before, at last, travel back to her Aeldenic home where she might rest some more.

 

The de Savin Estate, located at Little Ves 5, will be open to all involved within the Social Season, specifically the Debutantes and their associates, although any man or women interested in the event = are free to observe as well. Furthermore, children looking to learn more about foreign history are encouraged to attend! All are welcome!

Maria Ashes is terrified to meet the Duchess of Savinia- frightened to say. The bastard would take a deep breath and prepared herself to meet the matriarch. "Lord have mercy on my soul." Commented the amber eyed woman while signing the lorraine with a calm tone and mere seconds after she had decided to see the Duchess.
