The Pruvian Reform Act, 1852

We, the City Assembly of New Providence hereby pass these amendments, acts and laws by the legislative powers granted to us, by the Crown of Orenia through our Charter.

 

I. The Lord Mayor may not hold the office of Alderman.

II. The Deputy Lord Mayor may not hold the office of Alderman.

III. The City Clerk may not hold the office of Alderman.
IV. The Magistrate may not hold the office of Alderman.

V. The presiding officer of the City Assembly shall be the Magistrate.
