The Reclamation

“There is no King but Malin” 

Our realm sits upon not one, but two, ruins of Mali civilization from which we call our ancestors. Their lives are known to us to be one of high culture, but also violence - of mystery, intrigue, and above all - the promotion of our common bond through Malin, seeking to live as he did. Yet much more is shrouded in mystery. Their structures, clothing, literature, art, deep philosophical beliefs, grievances..was long thought lost to us - scattered to dust, destroyed in conflict, or taken by our hiding ancestors to be preserved for a later coming. Yet, we have called our city ilandria, short for Malindria (Common: Malin's Hope) for we believe in the hope for all of Malin's kind, and our own people - we can no longer be subject to the uncatalogued and unknown history of our people. Hidden and repressed.

We have recently come into possession of an original text, called only "The Malin'onn" - a dedicated synopsis of our early ancestors, yet many pages remain missing still, notably the detailed writings of 'The Five Instructions', are left missing. Yet this text has provided a guide - an early roadmap, and a hope - that we may uncover more of who we are.

So, we cling and burnish this hope. Reclaimers of the Ebonwood have discovered a deep chamber of tunnels, catacombs, and ruins which we believe hold the keys to our past. Having full access to the survey sites, and its treasures means we may now make a dedicated effort to the restoration of this knowledge as it guides us. Initial site surveys show that dedicated efforts will need to be made to explore and clear the natural blockades and unknown dangers and ruins. The Soldiers of Malin shall be needed as much as his scholars to ensure safe discovery.

We now ask all Eldari who have a thirst for knowledge and truth, and who aspire to continue to delve deeper into Malin's teachings - to join us on this expedition - come with your adventuring equipment for we know not what we shall encounter, as we embark on 'The Reclamation'.
