"I will be back in a valah week" Raziel stated towards the Arch-Princess' sister as he packs what he needs "Just a little sailing trip, now that everything is fine - I will be back for the royal wedding, however, I won't miss out on that!" he added with his usual grin before departed down the stairs to the port of Fi'Andria, having no idea what was to come.

After he put the last of his much-needed supplies onto the boats deck, he jumps on and pushes the boat away from the docks, starting to row it onto the open ocean while waving some bystanders good-bye.

On the horizon the clouds grow darker and darker, while Raziel rows into the rising storm.

 

The regret came soon. The water entered his way-too-little boat en masse, barely able to keep himself afloat, Raziel is pushed off course further and further. After two hours of intense struggle, the rain ceased to fall. Or so he thought - the moment he sat down, the storm grew ever worse: The rain intensifying, the wind dashing against the boat and mast while his struggle continued. Barely able to hold onto something his misery came to another height on the open sea: Lighting struck the tiny mast and threw it off the boat, alongside with his compass and some belongings. 

 

He drifted for days without any idea where he was. One morning he awoke to a loud crash - his boat hit land!

He disembarked, in an entirely strange land.

He's not dead. He'll be back. I just need a little break from the things mainly keeping me to play 2 days a week to find a proper and healthy balance again. :>

Feel free to assume he's dead in roleplay though, that is completely fine and makes sense. He said he'd be back soon and went into a storm... make sense.
