It was created by the American Humane Association in 1915 to promote compassion towards animals. During this special week, animal shelters across the country organize various events to raise awareness about the role of animals in our lives and communities. It's an opportunity to celebrate the unique bond between humans and animals and to encourage everyone to treat animals with kindness and respect. Children’s Day Every year, World Children's Day is celebrated to promote international togetherness, and awareness among children worldwide, and to improve children's welfare. November 20th is an important date as it is the date in 1959 when the UN General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child. It is also the date in 1989 when the UN General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Since 1990, World Children's Day also marks the anniversary of the UN General Assembly adopting the Declaration and the Convention on Children's Rights. Every country holds it on a different day, For example, the United Kingdom holds it on the 12th of May the second Sunday of May, while in America it is on the 9th of June the second Sunday of June. Scavenger Hunt Day Every 24th of May, Scavenger Hunt Day is held. It is where all things Scavenger Hunt is observed and celebrated. On this day people embark on quests, decipher clues, and search for hidden treasures, fostering teamwork and excitement. Timeline Pet Adoption Day May 6th Children’s Day May 12th Scavenger Hunt Day May 24th Pet Adoption Day During our Pet Adoption Day on the 6th of May, we will be hosting a pet adoption event at Cloud Temple! Our Pet Adoption Day is an opportunity for you to find your perfect furry friend. We will have a variety of pets available for adoption, including cats, dogs, rabbits, and more, all of which need new loving homes and families! Children’s Day Look around corners, through windows and inside of barrels this coming Children's Day! We will be hosting a familiar children's game for many of you of Hide and Seek! We will be gathering at Cloud Temple on the 12th of May to play a few rounds of this beloved children's game. Before we go off to our chosen area to play the first round, we will be hopefully going nation to nation, in turn, to play these games so we can showcase more of the server to new and old players alike! So, keep your eyes peeled for this exciting event and join us for a day of fun and games! Scavenger Hunt Day Search high and low, up and down this coming Scavenger Hunt Day! Our monks will be hosting a scavenger hunt for all to enjoy. Those wishing to play need only find a partner and make their way to Cloud Temple on 24th of May to locate one of our monks.
