A Scar on Aegis

As Jord, Psiop and Groobs have stated, Austin has acquitted himself fantastically in improving the city of New Terriko to the burgeoning, rapidly-expanding state that ye have stated.

~On the subject of 'plain' walls; we are merely laying down a structure so that it is easier to decorate/make more fearsome the walls once we are done. No matter what you think, finding such a great amount of materials is not so easy, and we as mere citizens of Aegis have to live day-to-day with what materials and ores that we can scrounge and mine from the depths of the earth.

In this, our walls can only increase in aesthetics as we have the time and materials to do so; a strong effort is being made towards this end by Austin and others of New Terriko.

In conjunction with this; New Terriko has recently welcomed a guild into its halls in order to protect the city and its surrounds from villains, bandits and undead. This 'Wolverine' Mercenary Group is what myself and many new town members belong to and I believe that the ranks of our establishment have already swelled due to the location and grand architecture of our city; of which the integrity seems have to been questioned by those who have begun this topic.

Tensions in the area, it seems, lie on the edge of a knife-edge. Give us this chance to muster our strengths and make New Terriko a better place than it is currently; aesthetically as you would have us do.

Personally, I am very excited about building and altering structures in a positive way; only school gets in my way to a large extent (I shall gladly help when I can).

The city is growing, that much is assured; all ye have to do is look past the current situation. After all, was Rome built in a day?

Humbly,

Azaghal of New Terriko and the Wolverines

Please make the walls considerably smaller, at the moment as you can see from the images they are ridiculously ugly and large.

((FYI this is border lining on GM's taking action to regen it, what the Undead did to it was completely and utterly unacceptable if it was their doing.))

Hey, I respect your decision for us residents of NT to alter the aesthetics and functionality of our large wall, but the Undead created their fort a long time after the wall was begun and it is very close to the city. I am just wondering how this is more 'aesthetic' than our walls (which will be modified to be smaller very soon).

~Two cities enclosed by large walls directly adjacent to each other- now we cannot even man our battlements adequately as the undead have come and messed the perms for the area, not to mention that they have taken the destruction of our wall into their own hands.

Respectfully, the undead did not even contact New Terriko at all about this; I find this not very fair as much work has gone into the wall and we would like to have had notice about what our conniving undead neighbours are up to; otherwise i see it as griefing without a sufficient rp background.

Again, @Brettdude I am a fellow Australian and we can work this out, mate. We will change the wall, but is there anything that we can do about our 'independent' undead neighbours changing their distance to our city which I believe should entail a certain amount of formalities about 'land rights'- as we have been custodians of the land; similar to the power of Whispering Isles to remove any buildings within a certain distance?

Just think, is what the undead have done right, plausible, and essentially fair to others of the LoTC community whose hard work has been destroyed as a result of the undead's tendency to take ooc matters into their own hands?

The walls are extremely plain, we would like them removed but if you could atleast fancy them up a little i'm sure Brett would find that more appealing

((And I'm not hating on it or nothing, Just a little forum RP :P))

I understand we don't like the walls ether, I don't even want walls I want our city to be open to everyone. We ARE going to do something with those stupid walls, but it will take a while to take them down. Since there made out of stone brick.))

New Terriko is my home. I do not want it to be destroyed, and also, why would you destroy this place when many people live in it. Do you plan on killing them all. I do not hope.~Shamaness

I will keep posting pics of the growth of New Terriko if you like, or are we done picking on us?

The Clearance of the junkyard, mostly complete - the hole in the wall/ the very end dip. (the sheep seem to like it)

If these photos aren't proof that New Terriko has a dedicated and growing community that will not be forced out then I do not know what is.
