A COURT SUMMONS: MIKHAIL SARKOZIC

8th of Sun’s Smile, 132 B.A.

 

 

AS OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT, from recent proclamations and developments, MIKHAIL SARKOZIC is being summoned by the Magisterium of Balian to defend himself against the following charges:

 

For breach of the Canticle of Temperance, and for being tainted by the whispers of Avarice pursuant to His Eminence’s prior address [1].

 

1 Count of Treason & Sedition (“Lex Criminalis Art. IV.01A - Where an individual commits acts with the intent to compromise the integrity of the Crown and its constituent institutions [...] by impugning the character and person of the Crown through subversive means [...], this shall be the crime of Treason.”)

OF REFERENCE: On Deviancy (“Lex Criminalis Art. V.02A - Where an individual intentionally acts in unusual or unaccepted standards, especially in social or political behavior, this shall be the crime of Deviancy, an infraction.”): On Deviancy is evoked for the unusual and unacceptable communication against and to the Crown through means of subversion and trickery, and is also subjected for reference per the sudden announcement of political title gain, whatever the claimed reason may be.

 

1 Count of Forgery (“Lex Criminalis Art. III.05A - Where an individual, with the intent to defraud, knowing that he or she has no authority to do so, signs the name of another person or of a fictitious person, this shall be Forgery, an infraction.”)

 

1 Count of Impersonation (“Lex Criminalis Art. II.09B - Where an individual intentionally assumes the identity of another individual in order to carry out high treason, this shall be impersonation, charged with the penalty of Treason.”)

 

For acknowledgement and answering, MIKHAIL SARKOZIC is summoned by the Magisterium of Balian to trial within the next SEVEN Saint’s Days. Should he not appear within the appointed period, he shall be deemed guilty of Absconding (Lex Criminalis IV.04A - Where an individual fails or intentionally avoids surrendering oneself to the custody of Royal Officials at the appropriate time, this shall be the crime of Absconding, and in the case of the awaiting trial immediately confirms guilt, dismissing the need for lawful hearing.”) and shall be considered GUILTY of the aforementioned crimes, facing the following punishments: a penance of Forgoing titles of Princehood and other noble standings, to never claim another title for as long as he lives; to Enlist within a Holy Order and to Forgo standing as Head of the Sarkozic household, per his rampant avarice. 

 

Additionally, the following are requested to appear in court as witnesses to testify: Markus Sarkozic.

 

Standing as a tribunal system for judgment, His Eminence Cardinal Ivan, The Amiratus August Temesch, and The Magister Alaric var Ruthern will oversee the trial’s progression and will provide a holistic verdict for Mikhail Sarkozic. Furthermore, Friar Jacques-Baptiste Auclair, auditor of the Supreme Pontifical Tribunal, is invited by His Eminence to observe and ensure the fairness of the trial regarding the breach of the Canticle of Temperance and charge of Avarice.
