A missing horse

All across aevos flyers are pinned to noticeboards and lamp posts depicting that of a missing horse and a halflings plea to have him returned safely. the message is as follows:

"Whilst herb gathering on the second of Sun's Smile up in the snowy forests and mountains around Nevaehlen and Hanseti-Ruska my horse had gone missing. it is important that he is returned to me safely as herb gathering and long distance travel can be strenuous."

To Timothy Herbgatherer,

 

Your flyer has made its way to us and found a sympathetic soul in doing so. The loss of a pet resonates with us as I could only imagine losing my own St. Otto Spaniel Slavomir or Heaven forbid my favourite crow Gorman. I also understand the importance of Smudges to you as means by which to make a living for yourself and without him you will suffer dreadfully. As such, I will endeavour to set out and find your horse if it resides within Haeseni land and task the Band of St. Tuvya to do the same. Payment is not necessary as helping a man in need is reward itself. In the meantime I would like to make gift of a horse to you as a replacement that you may keep should we fail to find your precious Smudges. If you would be willing, I think it best we meet in person in New Valdev, if you can find the time, to discuss where exactly you last saw your horse and to bestow Patches onto you.
