I am a 23 year old college graduate. I am a substitute teacher and I live in a small rural community. I have quite a bit of spare time in the afternoons, so I usually like to spend it either reading, listening to music, or playing video games. I am easy-going and have a friendly personality.

-How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

40+ Hours.

-How long have you played Minecraft?:

I began playing Minecraft when it was still Alpha.

-What do you know about Roleplaying? What is it?:

Role-playing is about creating and acting out a specific role. It's about creating a story and a character and developing them into a unique personality which can then interact with the story in a fully immersive experience.

-What do you expect this server will be like?:

Large community of capable Role-players. Add in the extreme customization of Minecraft and you have an experience like none other. It's an exciting prospect.

-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

This will be my first Minecraft Role-playing server, but I have Role-Played in Wheel of Time MUDs. I just want to play in a more immersive environment.

-Biography:

Thaelen was always known by his parents and relatives to be a "cock-eyed optimist." He could always find the good in every situation, but, perhaps, this was due to his very sheltered lifestyle within the safety of the Elven Forests of Malinor. His parents, both scholars, were joyful elves as well. They took delight in their studies and often took Thaelen and his sister out into the forest so that they could play whilst their parents studied their various scrolls.

As Thaelen matured, he too began to take an interest in wisdom and knowledge. He often travelled to the libraries of Malinor in order to gain a deeper understanding of the history of the Elves. After some time, Thaelen became bored with the information contained within the libraries of Laurelin. He began to thirst for adventure and the opportunity to study the world of Aegis by actually travelling outside of the Forests of Malinor, something he had never done before. He went out and purchased some travelling gear, packed a bag full of parchment, quills, and ink jars, and wished his family well. He does not know what awaits him in the land of Aegis, but whatever it is, he hopes to gain wisdom from it.

Thaelen has shoulder length,dirty-blond hair, and green eyes. He is tall and has a slender build. He is quick on his feet, but not as strong as the warrior elves being that he never really trained in the arts of warfare. It is seldom that his pointy ears are seen due to the unkept nature of his hair. He is not much into fashion and usually has ink stains on his clothes.

-Character Personality:

Thaelen is an optimist. He is friendly, jovial, and enjoys meeting new people. He loves the thrill of an adventure and is always searching for the answers to his many questions. Above all things, he is a lover of knowledge and wisdom.

-Your ambitions:

Thaelen's ambitions are to become a reknowned and trusted scholar of Aegis. He hopes to one day be as wise and knowledgeable as his parents.

-Can your character read or write?:

Thaelen doesn't like to brag, but he is quite gifted in the arts of reading and writing.

Goodness no! Why would an elf or scholar have need of rocks and stones?

-Are you a capable builder?:

Thaelen worked on many building projects with his father. He has also studied many scrolls on elven architecture.

-Can you wield a sword?:

Thaelen's sword skills are basic at best. He is mightier with the pen!

-Enjoy Farming?:

Whenever Thaelen requires reflection, he often turns to farming and gardening. He finds peace whilst working with nature and it helps to put his mind at ease.

Thaelen is very perceptive. He can often tell when another person is troubled.
