Dear Diary, 

 

It’s been a few days since I last wrote here. I’ve been on the road for quite a while, and finally, after a long time of travelling, I’ve come across a city that I think I can settle down in - Haense.

My beautiful wife, Amy, is just glad that we can stop travelling and actually live somewhere. After all, she’s with child; all that horse riding is difficult for her! I'm just so glad I married her; she's been so resilient through all our travels.

I’ve written a letter to my best friend, John, about our decision to settle here. He’s really excited, and even says he’ll come to visit real soon! I can hardly wait; Ryan's been my friend for the longest time, and the thought of being able to hang out with him more excites me. My ever-shy little sister, Ava, already lives in Haense, which was a big part of my decision to live here. It’ll be good to be able to live here with her. 

I just hope that sales can go well. As a travelling merchant, it’s hard to make a living; but now that I’m in Haense, maybe I can get a stall or even a shop! The future is bright; but of course, it’s only a matter of time before that evil Henry tries to sabotage me. He’s just mad that my sales are better than his.

Anyway, Amy’s calling me from the kitchen. Looks like I’ll have to sign off for now.
