Grady opens te door to the closet holdin' all of the family paintin's, some 'alf-burned and others torn. 'e looks at the one in the corner, slightly crumpled. It shows a red-headed man with 'is blonde wife. There was a young child in the father's arms. It brings back many, many memories from the good ol' days. He wonders where the rest of 'is family ended up. The Hephalufs seemed to be the only literate family of the dwarves. Grady was made fun of fer wantin’ to practice writin’ rather than fight.
