The time has come for our beloved Anaïs Natalya van Leuven, the youngest daughter of the late Dame Yvaine Conradine and Lord Cardan Matteo van Leuven, to embark on the journey that is her transition into adulthood. With joy and reverence, the van Leuven household invites you to join us in this celebration of tradition and individuality.

 

Anaïs, a student of the arts, is an avid painter and a passionate enthusiast of fine artistry. Following in her father's footsteps, she is often found acting as a patron, supporting and nurturing creative expression within her community.

 

Attendees will witness and participate in the sacred rites of our house, alongside those of the Haeseni Hauchmetvas to honor Anaïs's coming into society. The celebration will feature a variety of activities, each reflecting her unique personality, the spirit of her late mother, and the proud heritage of House van Leuven. All who share in our joy are most welcome to attend.

 

All guests are encouraged to dress with the theme  ‘A Painter’s Dream’

I. FEAST OF FIRE

The celebration begins with the Feast of Fire. As guests arrive, they will enjoy a spread of gourmet dishes, blending Haeseni and Savoyard cuisine. This is an opportunity for attendees to mingle and prepare for the night’s festivities.

 

II. WREATH CEREMONY

As the Feast concludes, the ladies of the van Leuven family will present Anaїs with a ceremonial wreath. Made of carefully selected flowers and bulbs, the wreath symbolizes the blessings and hopes of her family as she is to join society. 

 

III. BONFIRE LIGHTING

Guests will be led outside to witness the lighting of a grand bonfire beneath the moon and stars.  In reflection, Anaїs will toss three meaningful items from her childhood into the flames. As each item burns, she will share its significance, symbolizing her departure from youth and her readiness to embrace adulthood.

 

IV. THE GALLERY OF ANAЇS VAN LEUVEN

Guests are encouraged to take a stroll through the halls of Furentaliz, which will be transformed into a living gallery, adorned with the works of Anaїs. The exhibition will offer a rare glimpse into her artistic evolution, showcasing everything from her earliest sketches to her most recent and accomplished masterpieces.

 

V. A JOUST 

A joust will be held, where the noble may compete to demonstrate their valor and, perhaps, make their intentions for the lady’s hand known. The winner will be crowned Champion of the Night by Anaїs herself. And will also be receiving a coin purse of a hundred minae. 

 

VI. GIFT GIVING

Though not required, conclude the evening, Anaїs will receive gifts from her family and guests.
