What circumstances led to this ban?

 

I was conversing in OOC chat with some random player about going to the gym and the player PCSwift started to talk with me. It turned into friendly banter and then hostile. In the months prior to this incident, PCSwift was actively coming into my discord. He would play CSGO with us as well as just converse about things we are doing in life. He would actively tell myself as well as other members of my discord about a relationship he was in. I believe the two were dating for six months or something like that, then one day he comes to us and explains that she is fifteen years old. Immediately after hearing this, I removed him from my discord. This was taken to the staff at the time and he was not banned. I had said something in relation to this to him in OOC chat and I was banned shortly after.

 

Are there aspects of the ban you agree and/or disagree with?

 

I should not have been in OOC arguing with this guy. Simple as that. I am not writing this with the attention of attempting to double down on what I did. I just want to share my side. I agree with my ban. These sort of delicate subjects should not be discussed on LOTC and instead on private platforms ultimately allowing the staff team to present a verdict. I apologize for this, again, this is a very serious topic on LOTC and this will not happen again.

 

What motivates you to return to LOTC?

 

I was able to appeal in February of of this year, however, I have been busy pursuing my master's degree and working a new job. I joined LOTC in 2015, come August of this year, it will be ten years since I have been playing the server. I have been banned many times and I have started many groups. I don't have as much time as I used to play, however, I have heard that war cannot be declared and new tiles cannot be acquired. There will not be much for me to do until next map, if I even choose to play. I want to start up a group again, that is always what I have had the most fun doing. Thank you for taking your time to read and consider my ban appeal. I am more than willing to engage into more extensive conversation in regards to my ban (if needed) via discord voice call or messages.
