Out-Of-Character:

-Minecraft Account Name:

That would be Repiteo. I have stuck with this name for 6 years now and I wasn’t going to stop with Minecraft.

-How old are you?:

Sixteen years of age.

-Time-Zone/Country of Residence:

Central time, USA

-Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:

Yes I do; in fact I may little too well. I sometimes use “big words” to people that I find perfectly find and often have to explain just what I’m saying every other second.

-Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

My daily life goes on as a normal high-schooler’s would, albeit partaking in multiple extra-curricular activities which include but are not limited to: singing, dancing and (my personal favorite) acting. I find myself a very humble person that is always fun to be around due to the laughter I often cause people to produce.

-How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

My schedule is very complicated and varying, so a consistent time frame would be impossible. Sometimes it could be 50 or more hours a week, other times it could be barely an hour, if anything at all. But to put a rough estimate down: it would be 14 to 26 hours a week.

-How long have you played Minecraft?:

Since 1.2 Beta, but I’ve been introduced to it ever since it was in very early Alpha stage (somewhere during Notch’s “Seecret Saturday” updates).

-What do you know about Roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?:

Well, as your Wikipedia defines it: Roleplaying is, “…the act of playing the role of and acting as a character would rather than yourself”. In other words, acting a set character and improvising everything he does in both action and counteraction to his surroundings, situations and others that are roleplaying as well.

I have role-played ever since I first saw “Who’s Line is it Anyways?” and thus becoming instantly hooked on the concept. After that time until now, which has been about 9 years, and going through various acting courses I have, in my eyes at the least, perfected the concept. (and yes, this is technically improving more than role-playing par say, but I feel it has enough of the elements of role-playing to count as such)

As for what kind of roleplaying, it comes down to two categories: RPGs and Improvaganzas, the latter being the more common practice.

-What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect it to be what a role playing server SHOULD be: a fun experience where one can truly learn and become their character, all the while knowing that moderators will have zero tolerance for “try-nots” ruining the play experience.

-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I have never found interest in sticking with servers before to be perfectly honest. The key word in that sentence is “sticking”, because I’ve been in dozens upon dozens of servers, creative and survival alike with varying rules and regulations. I’ve been hypes over some but they’ve let me down in the end. I hope that this won’t be the case with this server, and you shall truly provide me a truly majestic experience that will completely redefine Minecraft for me.

-Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?:

The rules you have on the site are simple and efficient, covering pretty much every ground to prevent any negative activity on the server.

And I am incredibly impressed with the lore. Not only did I read it, but I was entranced by it. I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen such amazing imagery and thought process through a fantasy environment ever sense reading Lord of the Rings. In fact, the lore is half the reason I’m actually here, because I can truly get to define my character by relating him to historic events.

-Name the 4 races on this server:

That would include the following: humans, elves, dwarves and orcs. …And allow me to add, this is a completely ridicules question that, because you even have to consider including it, makes me doubt humanity. But I’m getting off track here, I’ll just move on now.

-How did you hear about us?:

From my brother who has failed to be accepted by you guys yet.

-Did you vote?:

I don’t see why this has to be on the questionare, because including it makes it feel bias and mentally forces people to vote solely to be able to answer this question yes.

…If that was your intention, it worked on me, because I have been voting for three days now.

-What was your favorite law?:

“You must keep in character”

…I cannot tell you how much I absolutely abhor it when people break the flow of a RP when someone just acts out of character and ruins the fun for everyone.

-What was your least favorite law?:

I wanted to not be one of those guys that just says “dey is all good, lawl”, but I literally couldn’t find anything that I didn’t truly despise. Even ones I did debate on (such as the graffiti one, as it could relate to the RP of a rebellious character), the good outweighed the bad and left me to not complain.

-What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?:

Once again, Repiteo; as I said before, I use this name for everything.

In-Character:

-Character Name:

Biological name: Bhleg’angi Wyree

Inherited name: Pal’un Drumm

-What is your Race?:

Orc, with a nomad subrace.

-Biography:

Mr. Drumm, the Halfling, could not believe his poor eyes when he gazed upon what is taking place before him. In the center of his prize winning reed farm was a crying baby in a tightly swaddled clooth, with no trace of origin or just how he got there to begin with. He Halfling blinked and rubbed his eyes multiple times to try and take in just what was happening before him, but soon coming to his senses as the baby cried out once again. Now, without hesitation, the Halfling rushed back to his house where his loving wife, expecting pumpkins for the brew she was preparing, stood agast at the sight of a child enfolded in cloth before her eyes. Mrs. Drumm ran to the refrigerator to get milk for the poor dear when her husband shouted in fear. Rushing back to the room where he had placed the baby, she gave off a similar reaction at what was before them. The child was an orc. Not only an orc, but an orc in the darkest of hues and harboring blood-red eyes that expressed terror on this couple. At first they could only react in panic, but then the child let out a loud cry once more. Then it struck the Drumms, this was a mere infant before them. They need not fear it. But Mrs. Drumm went a step beyond and suggested to her husband they should raise it, stating it would be a true experience. Her husband was reluctant at first, but gave in when she stated that this was the only way they would ever have a kid due to her inability to naturally have kids. And that blood moon night then and there, they adopted the child.

6 years later, their child, whom they dubbed Pal’un, was starting to truly be introduced to the village. The response for the most part was negative. Not that they hated the orc, they were just dumbfounded that a monster was being raised in their quaint little village. Many villagers stated it wasn’t natural for a beast to be in a place halflings live. While technically true, the Drumm family didn’t care and continued to raise their child to his full potential, in their Halfling eyes. For the most part, they tried to teach him not to act out of violence, but out of protection, and never harm another unless they try to harm the innocent. This lesson, along with various farming tips his father taught him and fishing skills that he “inherited”, was what stuck with him for the majority of his time in his town.

It was just 2 years later when the entire town’s view of this orc changed. One blood moon night, not unlike the night he was discovered by his family, a shriek came out from one of the houses. Pal’un burst out from the door to see if anyone was in peril. Peril was an understatement. A zombie posse was looming in on a family that had been huddled into a corner. The helpful advice that his mother had taught him was now seeping into his brain and he knew what he had to do. He had to fend off the undead. He didn’t have any weaponry to abide him so he had no choice but to rush in and take on four zombies bare handed. Without a second thought, he ran in and fended off the zombies for the family to escape. The undead fiends tried to overwhelm the orc, but he was already taller than they and was able to tear them down with ease. Not killing them, but seriously injuring them, the zombies limped out and never again were zombies seen for many miles around that village again. It was then and there that the village came to respect the orc, and that he truly was on the side of the halflings.

For years to come, Pal’un was at a state of divine peace with the halflings, and did his best to aid his community in any way he could. He was always willing and able to do the hard labor, as he quite enjoyed the satisfaction of hauling about items. His personal achievements to the village include both carving out and channeling the town’s well and creating a manmade river to flow though the town square using his bare hands. But the more he grew older, the more he thought to himself over his ambiguous past. So one night, after harvesting the pumpkin yield, he confronted his parents about this issue. He had asked before, but this time the couple agreed he was old enough to truly know how he came to be in the village. So the father and mother enlightened the orc about how they found him in cloth as his father reached for a piece of parchment hidden in a teapot. The parchment was well worn and growing dusty and vague, but the words inscribed on it were still clear as day: “Bhleg’angi Wyree”, his true name, and his only clue to his past.

So throughout the night he pondered this new given fact and decided that in the morning he would set off from his quiet village into the harsh unforgiving world. In the morning he bid his farewells to the village and they were devastated that he was leaving, but nevertheless accepted that fact. The last people he bid farewell to were his mother and father. He said that even if he found his true family that he would always know that they were his real family. With those last few words, he set off into the unknown world, in hopes of finding the truth of his past and making new friends.

-Character Age:

24, however he is about as naïve as a 7 year old.

-Character Appearance:

Two words: fear incarnate. The sheer height strikes one’s eyes as they gaze upon with pure inadequacy of the 7’9 colossus that stands before them. The pitch-black skin tone of this beast is only shunned in inadequacy to its crimson red eyes which stare into your soul. Yellow tusks protrude from its strong jaw, further emphasizing the monster that is seen by many when is gazed upon by many. The 8-pack on his chest is often the last thing they have the tolerance to see before fleeing in fear.

However, in complete opposition to this impression, those humble halflings in his homeland see him in a completely different light. They see no monster, but rather a humble man in a monster’s body. They see his attire which was all custom made for him by his loving mother, which include a now-worn pair of trouser and arm bracelets that signify his halfing family bloodline. But for the most part, he still looks like a monster, albeit well groomed.

-Character Personality:

As humble and sweet as a person can get, caring for others and finds great joy in befriending others. He is often very protective of those he loves and will stand up to those weaker than him to preserve their honor. Never rash to act nor quick to think, he always plans his courses of action before attempting them. But still, he feels lacking, as is expected of one whom has no idea as to his true life; but, he very well hides this, and only brings it up if he feels inclined to.

-Your ambitions:

Finding his true origins is perhaps his greatest goal in life. Not a day goes by that he longs to find the truth behind his past and he shall always strive to do what he must to accomplish that goal. But this is just a quest of self-discovery, for he knows that his true family is and always will be, in his quaint home with his Halfling mother and father.

A secondary goal of his would likely be to influence history, such as through becoming a diplomat or a representative for a large group of people whom he shares interests with. He does realize just how inconceivably hard this will be because he is an orc, let alone his other threatening attributes; but, he hopes deep down that one day, a lord shall see past his heinous appearance and recognize him for the intelligible and hardworking person he truly is. Such honor would mean the world to him.

-Can your character read or write?:

Trained by his own mother, his grasp of literature and the art of language is most divine. However, his handwriting is sloppy, but that’s what one can expect when the span of his fingers in greater than the length of the writing utensil he uses.

-Can your character mine?:

Often excavating what he must to aid his hometown and help expand it, he had gotten used to using a pick to tear apart solid rock to make way for new farms and livestock. However, he is far from a professional, never mining for anything other than structural and aesthetic purposes.

-Are you a capable builder?:

This attribute came naturally with hauling around lumber and setting them about for barns and other various other essential structures. Never being more complex than he needs to be, he just builds enough to get the job done, saving the fancy stuff and technical jargon for those whom are trained for just that.

-Can you wield a sword?:

Swordplay is far from a common practice in his quiet little town, so he never truly found a need to wield a sword. If anything, he feels most comfortable his trusty gardening hoe, almost never letting it leave his sight. He is, however, very handy with an axe, able to chop entire trees in seconds and, on extremely rare occasions, fend for himself. However, when it comes to that latter point, he often finds it easier to just use his bare fists to ward off any foes, thus not killing them unless they pose genuinely serious threats.

-Enjoy Farming?:

He has farmed as long as he can remember and becoming in his parents eyes unrivaled in his skills to yield a professional crop. He absolutely adores the activity and prefers it above all other activities, with the possible exceptions being reading and fishing.

-Does your character have any special skills?:

He can remove his front two teeth and rub them vigorously together to create fires. That and it can also be used for performing percussion if he should come across hollow logs. For the most part he doesn’t use this skill, but it does come in handy, and makes for a fun trick at get-togethers with friends.

-Other Information:

I know the adoption story has been done to death, but I used it for the sake of irony because of the circumstances used in said story.

EDIT: …And for crying out loud, don’t post on this if you aren’t one of the people who accepts these things, it just puts me back and delays the submission. If you like it, just click the big green button on the bottom right of this post.
