BobBox 3798 Share Posted July 19, 2025 Spoiler Born blind, Eanur experienced a world that lacked what all others relied upon. Wandering around his small cabin, the elf memorized the locations of various objects and stumbled upon those he had not. While his eyes were clouded and he gazed around without clear focus, he found that the only solution was prayer. But Eanur knew that prayer was not a quick solution; indeed, many priests spend their entire lives in such practice. So, between prayers, he worked to memorize more. If he knew the locations of everything in his village, was that not a form of vision? Yet, he continued praying as he learned, ever hopeful that GOD would answer him. But GOD was cruel. One day, the village was washed away by a torrential flood, and so his memorization of the layout was lost too. Having experienced the cruelty of the world, Eanur turned further to GOD. However, this time he was answered. Commanded to cross the world and experience what he could not memorize, he took a boat onto the vast ocean and ventured to new lands. Here, the mighty storm pulled him in, and he landed on Aevos. Lying in a deep slumber, Eanur cried out in the darkest hour, begging that these new lands would be better than the previous ones. Astonishingly, his prayers were answered once again. He awoke crying out to GOD as the boat landed upon the shore, and soon his feet dug into the sand. Feeling a commandment deep in his skull, he covered his eyes and could suddenly see. Was this not a miracle? His cries had been answered. Blind Obedience was the key.
