So.... I took a look at my application, a real close one. And, as it turns out, I'm an idiot. I seem to have glazed over several rules, left all kinds of unfinished sentences, and generally just destroyed any chances I had of getting accepted. So now, I've looked over the application with fresher eyes, and hopefully this time the profiles a little less of a mess.

-Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes. I've got a fairly good grasp on it. If mistakes are made, its because I'm typing faster then I'm thinking.

...Unfortunately, that happens a lot.

-Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm a jackass. Not the griefing trololol kind, but the "I don't really care about your problems" kind. At least with those I don't know well. Also. I can't sing. So don't ask me to try.

-How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

Most days of the week, and almost always on the weekends.

-How long have you played minecraft?:

Since around 1.5.

-What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?:

Roleplaying is basically taking control of a character. They might be one who happens to have a personality like yours, or they might be something completely different. In addition, this character can be of different races, or perhaps not sentient at all. The most difficult part is staying in character, especially when a character is almost like you, but with a few significant differences. I've been doing forum roleplays since I was 12. And I've done minecraft roleplay for about 6 months now.

-What do you expect this server will be like?:

Stable, and actually functioning. Its rarer then you'd think on Roleplay based servers.

-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

Bloodlust: Basically a PVP server with slight RP overlay. I expected it to be the other way around. In addition, the two sides were incredibly imbalanced in terms of people, and the admins were all but absent. When the server finally crashed, I just went ahead and left.

TheKingdomsMc.com: This one was actually a better server, for a time. Roleplaying happened, and if things were a little...strange, that was only to be expected. However, when 1.8 came out, the server was launched before it was actually ready. The results was chaos. While things did calm down, the community is still heavily scarred as a result, and things are...well, bad. So I'm leaving the server.

-Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?:

The Ancient lore seems to be more fleshed out then the modern, but thats only to be expected, I suppose. I agree to the server rules, which seem to be straightforward. Do you need proof I've read the lore? I can talk about the four sons, or the undead incursion, if need be.

-Name the 4 races on this server.

Human, Orc, Elf, Dwarf. At least, those are the big ones. The Undead and Ascended seem to me to be the sort of thing that roleplayers who've proven themselves and are active, turn to.

-How did you hear about us?:

A friend leaving the Kingdoms Server. The best people there had been leaving for some time, and I finally decided I'd had enough of the server.

-Did you vote?:

I've read up on the server, but I don't know enough about it in-game to vote in its favor as of yet. I think

-What was your favourite Law?:

No 1337 speak.

-What was your least favourite Law?:

The requirement to use the servers character skins or something similar. I understand the reasoning, but I'm attached to my old golem skin. Ah well. I found an elf skin, although I'll likely find someone on the actual Minecraft forums to pester or pay to make a better looking skin.

-Biography:

Distuth has spent his life in various locations. At first, simply home, living the life of a normal elven child. Aside from a few near fatal falls from a tree, his childhood was uneventful. His adult life, however, was somewhat more interesting. He spent The first 100 years of his adulthood travelling from place to place, picking up what knowledge he could find, and moving on. Unfortunately, his methods of picking up knowledge were not always ethical. As a result, he's spent a considerable amount of time in prisons. In the well constructed ones, he sullenly served his sentence. In the less well constructed, well...Perhaps not quite his full sentence. In recent years, he's settled down a little, at least long enough to gather knowledge of a more complex level. Namely, that of the monsters of the realm. While he says his studies are purely to help destroy such things, he is in truth simply curious about how such things work, and if the force animating the undead can be applied to other objects, or adapted to do so.

-Character Age: 346

-Character Appearance: Distuth is a fairly typical Brown haired blue eyed elf. He bears no noticeable scars or other significant markings. Were it not for his ears, he could probably masquerade as a human without too much trouble.

-Character Personality: Distuth is, first and foremost, a scholar. He has lived his life in the constant pursuit of knowledge. While he does have other interests, the thing mostly like to hook his attention is the offer of knowledge. He isn't too particular about how he gets that knowledge, either. Distuth has a reasonably quick wit, but tends to overuse it at times, trying to prove he is superior by virtue of his quick tongue.

-Your ambitions: Knowledge. All of it. And Survival too, probably. If it doesn't get in the way of the knowledge bit.

-Can your character read or write?: Of course. Theres all kinds of useful information on paper. Not being able to read would make gathering information almost impossible.

-Can your character mine?: Somewhat. A few stints in prisons after being caught in the pursuit of certain kinds of knowledge involved a good amount of rock breaking. He knows how to break rocks by now. However, extended periods of mining are beyond his stamina.

-Are you a capable builder? Only if by "building" you mean stacking a few rocks on top of each other. He can probably build himself a crude hut, but he'd need a great deal of help to actually make something worthwhile.

-Can you wield a sword?: Fairly well, actually. His tendency towards travel has had him beset upon by bandits numerous times. After the first few beatings, Distuth decided that, yes, swordplay was something probably worth learning. He still prefers archery, when he has the choice.

-Enjoy Farming?: Not even slightly. You have to stick around plants to farm, after all.

-Does your character have any special skills?: A quickness to learn on many different subjects, and a little bit of diplomacy, when he cares enough to use it. And while he can't build buildings, he's become quite adept at breaking them, with one method or another.

-Other Information: Yes. The name is the same on both the character and the minecraft username. I started making characters in this name, so on less roleplay servers, people would call me by the right name, at least. I'm hoping that won't be needed here. Also, If I get in, I'd probably end up using the bookworm plugin to write up journals on the nature of the mobs, and other aspects that can be found.

Now let me be blunt for a moment, the Application Team have other things to attend to in this game as well and thus the occasional skim over could be just us thinking about the Acceptance/Denial process or otherwise just taking a quick peek before getting off.
