The Golden State of Ipanema is pleased to announce the first Election of the Alcalde, the citizen representative and mediator between the people and the Crown. This position holds great responsibility and honor, shaping the life of the Oasis and the future of the State.

⚜ Duties of the Alcalde

The elected Alcalde shall:
※ Oversee the wellbeing of all Ipanemese citizens.
※ Evaluate and approve citizenship and refugee status requests from foreigners.
※ Debate, propose, and assess new laws and projects presented at the Council.
※ Communicate the needs and desires of the citizens directly to the Crown.
※ Participate in Council meetings regarding emergencies, petitions, and civic matters.

⚜ Eligibility Criteria

Candidates for the position of Alcalde must meet the following requirements:
※ Must be older than 16
※ Must be a citizen of Ipanema.
※ Must own or reside in property within Ipanema (house, shop, or ship).
※ Must have previous employment experience within the city.
※ Candidates may be subject to Darkspawn testing if requested by the Council or citizens.

⚜ Campaign Rules

Candidates are encouraged to:
※ Present their plans and projects to the citizens via debates or propaganda.
※ Engage in open dialogue and discussion with voters.

Prohibited actions include:
※ Any form of blackmail, manipulation, or cheating during the campaign period.
※ Violations will be punished by the Council, including potential disqualification.
