"The oath of the sands"

Hasset Ythe
(In common)

“Before the whispering sands, beneath the watching moon,
I stand unbound by blood, yet bound by will.

I renounce the name I bore in solitude,
and lay it to rest among the sands.
From this breath forward, I carry the name Drasereth,
not as possession, but as duty.

I swear loyalty not to crowns nor thrones,
but to the realms I am pledged,
and to the clan who walks beside me.
I shall not betray oath, kin, nor ancestor,
even when the desert takes its due.

I will honor the dead as living guides,
keep their ashes sacred,
and heed the whispers of those who endured before me.
Death is not an end, but a charge entrusted to the living.

I shall master my craft with discipline and humility,
serving where I am needed,
seeking excellence over authority,
and purpose over dominion.

I swear to stand against corruption and darkspawn,
to cleanse shadow with flame if called,
and to give my strength, my blood,
and my final breath if the sands demand it.

By Luara’s pale gaze,
by the watching ancestors,
and by the eternal desert that remembers all,
I am no longer who I was.

I am Drasereth.
I'll endure.”

"Bound spirit"

Belom'a Osyen
(In common)

“I call upon the spirits who shape our path and watch our dead.

Zarahl, Lesser Spirit of the dunes,
test my footing and humble my pride,
that I may endure the desert’s will.

Luara, Spirit of the Moon, pale white wolf of the night,
watch over my steps in darkness,
and bear witness to the truth of my oath.

Kor, Spirit of the Dead,
receive those who fall with honor,
and remind me that death is service, not silence

Ghorza, Spirit of travel and turning fortune,
guard my road wherever duty calls,
and return me when my path is fulfilled.

Skathach, Spirit of fire and flame,
lend your strength when corruption must be burned away,
and temper my wrath with purpose..

Betharuz, Spirit of cactus green, drink, and festivity,
grant fellowship after hardship,
that joy and memory endure beyond suffering.

Jevex, Spirit of order, hard work, and self-sacrifice,
bind my actions to discipline,
and my strength to service before self.

Aztran, Spirit of the sun, the stars, and the unseen aether,
light my path by day and night,
and set my fate alongside those who endure.

By your witness and by the whispering ancestors,
let this oath be heard,
remembered,
and weighed.”

Following the reciting of Hasset Ythe, If the Maehr reciting the oath had a previous last name, they would then take a piece of paper with their previous last name written on it using black squid ink, and then grab hold of a ʋ¤ʅᵲψ ᛪʊʅ(Volry Xul). Which translate to binding blade. A Volry Xul is a bone blade carved for ceremony and ritual practices.
The Maehr would then make a superficial cut onto their open palm, and put a drop of blood onto the piece of the paper. The paper is then thrown into purple ritual fire, followed by Belom'a Osyen. After the oath is recited, the Maehr would then receive either a Ko-hon or religious bone trinkets from other Drasereth members, before partaking in the final part of the ceremony,  Glouhk Nehnzh ritual(The darkening of fingers or hands using black squid ink).
