Let it be known to all merchants, partners, and travelers of Riviense and beyond:

There are moments in which a guild does not change hands through conflict or ambition, but through continuity. Such is the case now.

By mutual accord and settled agreement, the Merchant Guild within Riviense stands once more under my stewardship, returning to the hand in which it was first founded. This transition is neither abrupt nor uncertain; it is the natural conclusion of a chapter long and carefully tended.

The Guild remains open, active, and committed to its purpose: structured trade, binding contract, and honest exchange across borders and cultures.

 

 

On Partnership and Respect

 

No guild endures without trust tested by time. Certain partnerships — rare and valuable — shape its foundation more than coin ever could. It would be remiss not to acknowledge that this chapter closes with respect, and without discord.

 

I extend my gratitude to Aeterna Val'har, whose role in the Guild’s history is neither forgotten nor diminished, and whose departure from Riviense was undertaken with clarity and intent. Her mention need not be frequent to be understood.

Looking Forward

The Guild now looks ahead — not backward.

Its doors remain open to those who trade with integrity, who honor contract above convenience, and who understand that commerce is built upon presence, not promises. Riviense remains one of many crossroads, and the Guild’s reach extends beyond any single city.

What matters is not who held the ledger yesterday, but who keeps it balanced tomorrow.
