INTRODUCTIONS

This document records the agreement between the Imperial Business Association, the Petran Commerce Guild, and The Golden Onslaught.

Within it are the terms that will guide our cooperation in trade, investment, and the steady growth of commerce. It outlines how we will coordinate our efforts, uphold fair standards, and resolve disputes with clarity and discipline.

House d’Artagnan recognizes the Imperial Business Association for its reach and foresight in enterprise, and the Petran Commerce Guild for its steadfast commitment to market integrity. It is with capable partners such as these that lasting prosperity is built.

Let the articles that follow speak clearly to our shared intent.

ARTICLE I: PURPOSE

This agreement establishes cooperation in matters of commerce, mercantile development, and economic coordination, with the shared aim of strengthening regional and inter-regional trade.

ARTICLE II: MUTUAL RECOGNITION

All parties acknowledge one another’s authority and standing within their respective commercial spheres and agree to conduct business in good faith.

ARTICLE III: RESPONSIBILITIES

Each signatory affirms the duties set forth below and commits to upholding them in good faith and in the shared interest of stable commerce. All parties acknowledge that the strength of this accord rests upon reliability in these duties.

The Golden Onslaught:

  1. To supply the following materials when available:
    1. Iron, Daemonsteel, Redstone, Emeralds, Lapis, Diamonds, Coal, and Copper.
  2. To offer these materials to fellow signatories at a preferential rate below standard market value.
  3. To fulfill all obligations of guild membership with diligence and consistency.

The Imperial Business Association & The Petran Commerce Guild:

ARTICLE V: DURATION & TERMINATION

This accord shall remain in effect so long as it serves the prosperity and stability of its signatories. **Sigrid’s eyes move across the contract without haste, lingering more on numbers than on words of honor. A brief smile, devoid of warmth, curves her lips as she closes the document between two fingers.

**Molten wax drips heavily onto the parchment; the seal is pressed with deliberate force.

“Trust is a commodity like any other. Rarer than gold, and far more expensive when betrayed.”

**She straightens slightly, her tone pragmatic and stripped of illusions.

“If the terms are upheld, this agreement will yield profit for all involved. If they are not… the market has a long memory.”

**She withdraws her hand, leaving the contract upon the table like a wager already calculated.

“Let commerce run its course.”
