WITH GREAT JOY DOES HOUSE BASILEUS ANNOUNCE THAT THEIR LADY-HEIR, ANASTASIA CASIMIRA BASILEUS, HAS FINALLY REACHED THE AGE OF MAJORITY, WHERE SHE MIGHT PROPERLY BE INTRODUCED INTO SOCIETY. For the Baronies of Cascanova and Solvis to celebrate this Lady and all she’s achieved in the time she’s grown, friends, family, and citizens of the Empire are warmly invited to her MAJORIA D’ETAT; her coming of age party. These celebrations are held not only to usher her life into adulthood, but also in honour of the traditions of her ancestors' past. The events shall begin with a custom and tradition that dates back to the defunct Kingdom of Balian, and continue into the evening with revelry for all to enjoy.

I. THE BESTOWAL OF FAMILIAL GIFTS

 

THE EVENING WILL BEGIN WITH A CULTURAL TRADITION THAT BEGAN WITH THE BALIANESE. The Baroness of Solvis will present herself to her family and receive two gifts: the Regal de Protecció, and her Votive Sash. The first is a dagger, gifted as a reminder of the strength and resolve the Lady has garnered from her youth and will carry with her into adulthood. The second, the sash, is designed with the colors of the Lady’s Baronial House and decorated with brooches and embroidery to symbolize the tapestry of her life.

II. AN EVENING OF SPRINGTIME MERRIMENT

 

IN LIEU OF THE LADY BASILEUS HAVING GROWN AND NOW BEGINNING TO BLOOM AS A WOMAN OF HER OWN, ALL GUESTS ARE INVITED TO AN EVENING IN THE GARDENS OF BRECCI. Several stations of activities will be available, the first of which will be lantern decorating; they will all be released at the end of the night, and carry the wishes of whomever releases it. Additionally, paper boat racing will be available in the pool in front of the Brecci keep, the winner of which will receive a prize of 50 mina. Lastly, a scavenger hunt will take place throughout the night. Hidden in Cascanova’s city will be three amethyst brooches which may be found by guests at any time. Each brooch turned in will result in a prize of 100 mina, though guests are asked not to continue their search after finding one.
