It has been nearly two centuries since the parting, as time, like memories in the stream of river, slowly yet gently flowing with fate, destiny, and hope. I still remembered the gentleness of your words, your presence, and the shadows whispering fragile memories.
My eternal, I have found my love once again. Sweet, virtuous, industrious, and righteous. She reminds me a lot of you, just like you back when we reside by the great oak of the wee hill, the cherry tree on the lake of the glen.
She did not come and take your place, nor to steal the light of my former love;
She is a candle who have ignited my heart, from the darkness coming from loneliness and solitude.
I remember your parting words, and I have finally decided to honour your wishes, it took two centuries. I can finally say I am happy once again.
