Arcanium Cores

When creating an atronachs core the forger may choose to use an Arcanium core instead for a visual flair of their creations, bearing the same durability of a mage gold core due to the complexity of the enchantment weakening the Arcanium. The Arcanium used in a core must be of the evocation of the atronach, though the effects of other types may be included. While the use of Arcanium does little more than look cool, it's able to be further saturated with mana to allow 1 extra day before an atronach must recharge else it will deactivate.

• Arcanium cores follow all redlines of normal atronach cores unless specified otherwise.
• Having an Arcanium core will allow 1 more day before recharging is required, meaning liquid atronachs must charge every 4 days, and solid atronachs must charge every 8 days.
• Cores made this way must be active Arcanium in the evocation (or transfiguration in the case of telekinetic) of the atronach, though other forms of active Arcanium may be used as well.
• Having an Arcanium core may slightly alter how the atronach uses its abilities or looks, but it can in no way have any combative advantage.
• A forger must have the knowledge of forging Arcanium in order to create an Arcanium core.
• Follows all redlines of Arcanium and Arcanium forging

I've been playing atronachs for some time now and a while back I saw an addition similar to this get denied, and when I asked some older players why they said it was because Arcanium core additions always come with some unbalanced additions, which I fully agree with looking back at it. So I have decided to write my own addition that is purely a cosmetic change other than the effect of 1 more day being added to the number of days before needing to charge, which I'm like 99% sure very few atronach players actually do anyways. Also I noticed that atronach prosthetic lore already allows for Arcanium to be used for a visual change so I figured this would only make sense to make lore more consistent.

This submission is perhaps a bit too overcomplicated for something that is all sauce and no spaghetti; we suggest doing a simpler amend of a single line that says "Atronach Cores may optionally be made of arcanium of their same type, providing purely aesthetics and no combative advantage." if you want to still attempt this.
