TO THE CITIZENS OF THE DUCHY OF ADRIA,

It is the responsibility of the Ducal Coronet to reward its faithful subjects with titles befitting their rank, station, and abilities. As such, we confer unto Castille Fontaine the Barony of Montereine in recognition of extraordinary merit. Its associated titles, fee and privileges are to be held as the exclusive and perpetual right of Castile Fontaine and his lawful heirs.

As any loyal vassal of Adria, the Baron receives the right to counsel his liege, and is so entitled to a seat in the Ducal Duma. In turn, we charge Baron Fontaine and his heirs with the upkeep of common and ecclesiastical properties, the maintenance of levies, and the enforcement of laws. His rights, liberty, and property are under the aegis of the Duchy of Adria - and in turn, he is obliged to raise his sword in defense of our sovereignty.

May this decision bring glory and prosperity to Adria and may the House of Fontaine never fail in its duties to our Duchy.

STEKVARK, of ADRIA and LOCHUNSKOFK read over the freshly placed missive within the new sector of the Exilic Duchy of Adria, nodding in solemn approval as he knelt before the charter. However, before no man, but the words written themselves. "Grace ahn be graced. Castille Fontaine, ye shalt be de future ef de Exilic Duchy." His voice was low, yet the confidently murmured words sat beneath the bulletin board as his hand rested upon the hilt of his greatsword. With that, he rose and departed.
WARDENS OF THE NORTH, soon to be.

Genevive was beyond proud of her partner and his family. They had worked so hard, particularly in the most recent years, to give everything they had.

She felt it too. She'd never been so financially poor.

"You did it," she offered Castille as she sat and read the missive besides him. "All those worries years ago. Had I been able to record them, we would be able to laugh about them now." - "The work does not cease, however. It will only become more demanding here. But they are good people. A little aloof, but good."
