The Geared Vassal of Mechanikas Emblem

 

 

By decree of the Consuls and in accordance with the statutes of Mechanikas — a city built upon industry, precision, and coordinated labor — I, Cognator & Cog Councillor, hereby proclaim the formation and active function of the Functionary Office.

The office herein established shall serve as the functionary authority responsible for the lawful assessment, collection, and administration of taxes and dues owed to Mechanikas, ensuring that the march of industry is never hindered by chaos nor left unpaid for its share in civic maintenance.

 

✦ DUTIES OF THE OFFICE ✦

This Functionary shall:

• Collect lawful taxes according to Mechanikas statute
• Maintain the custody and accounting of civic revenue
• Oversee the fair assessment of contributions from guilds, workshops, and trades
• Keep official ledgers of receipts, balances, and expenditures
• Provide administrative support to the Consulate and civic bodies
