Let it be known to all dwedmar, kin, clan, and foreign witness.

The Doomforged are an ancient lineage, born of Urir’s sacrifice, carried by his descendants, and bound thereafter to the inheritance of the Derva, Kal’Asgol, the Stone Tongue, the Law of Flesh, and Dor-mâr, the Doomforge. We are not a clan born from comfort, nor one made by recent claim. Our name is carried by blood, oath and burden.

It has been found that many who claimed the name Doomforged through the line of Archimedes possess no true right to that inheritance.

After review of the old records and testimony of those who remained of the elder blood, it is declared that Archimedes had no surviving line beyond Mordin, and that Mordin bore no continuation of his own. Therefore, those who claimed descent from Archimedes in later centuries did so falsely, whether through error, deceit, or deliberate parasitism of the Doomforged name.

By this finding, the lines of Drakaem, Draakopf, and Charsi are declared illegitimate, along with every branch, child, claimant, marriage, or adopted name that drew authority from the false Archimedean descent. They are not recognized as Doomforged, nor as cadets, cousins, or lost kin. Their blood is rejected, their names are struck, and their claim is ended.

The condemned lines are judged guilty of the following crimes:

Falsification of ancestry.

Usurpation of the Doomforged name.

Betrayal of oath.

Abandonment of Dormmarian worship.

Service to false gods and foreign powers.

Weakening of the Doomforged clan.

Corruption of the inheritance of the Derva, Kal’Asgol, and Dor-mâr.

I. SENTENCE

The sentence is culling.

Those named by this decree are to be put to death. Those who submit shall be taken for sacrifice. Those who flee shall be hunted. Those who hide shall be found.

Any clan, dwarf, or foreigner that shelters, arms, defends, or aids them shall be treated as an enemy of the true Doomforged and judged accordingly.

II. CONDEMNATION OF THE MOSSBORN

The Clan of Mossborn is likewise condemned for aiding false kin, sheltering corruption, and feeding upon the Doomforged name.

They are declared enemies of the Doomforged and are included within the sentence of culling

III. DENIAL OF APPEAL

There shall be no appeal, pardon, adoption, renaming, or restoration.

The false line is severed in full. No oath sworn after this decree shall cleanse the blood already judged. No title, marriage, clan protection, or foreign shelter shall restore what has been stripped.

 FINAL DECLARATION

By true blood, by the Law of Flesh, and by the command of Dormmar, this decree is sealed.

The false line is ended.

[!]
A small drawing is marked upon the reverse side of each missive, accompanied by a note:

"This is how a Doomforged is meant to look. Any deviation marks a false claimant and must be reported to those of true blood."

Dorin Starbreaker would read the missive and look over to the loyal Onora Mossborn, his long-time First mate and right-hand woman, as well as being the well-known High Perceptor's Fiance.

He knew not of the inner workings of the Doomforged, only what stories he had been told by the clan members and other dwarves of their heritage and where their blood came from.

He knew of their desire to one day become an Elderclan, which was promptly discarded when it was discovered that Doomforged lived in the very walls of those realms and nations that aided their destruction.

Now, to see the call of Kinslaying, he grunted and took the missive.

"Witout teh grand kingdom an teh courts et tis nah sumtin ah would know how tah deal wit."

The Doomforged crossed his mind little, only ever fighting alongside a single Doomforged that aided him well in the war, and in practice, no letter would find its way to the Doomforged clan as he returned to his quarters, passing the missive off to Onora Mossborn with only two words in response to her.

"Yer safe" is all he would say to his crewmember

Muramir Doomforged  rubs his face  with callused hands in exasperation. Long estranged from his thought-to-be kin in his self imposed exile. This missive reaching him would only deepen the shame he felt for his clan.

A demonic thing, long having abandoned any ties to mortality, bids a response. It arrives not by missive, nor bird, but by dream. Before the resting eyes of Thraegar appears a foul creature, and to him, it challenges a singular combat. The bid was set. It need only be answered by coward or champion.

"You may sever my ties by blade, and blade alone."

So sayeth the dwaf-turned-demon, the once-Cleric Auriel,

now the baneful & poisonous Duthduv Odra,

Prophet of Khorvad.
